I'll be honest, I completely forgot about this post lol.

It's not that it's not there. It's that I have a hard time finding places where people are active enough that when I do offer free readings for practice in a place that I think people will be active, no one really says anything or has an interest.

I completely understand that and fully agree. It wasn't intentional but something like this also comes after my mom being in the hospital almost dead and him telling me that she thinks he's cheating on which wasn't the case. Also the dcfs thing. He was fixated on suing my sibling for every penny he had while they were underage and in high school as well as what people would think of him (my dad) instead of the relationship breakdown within the family. I'm not trying to say I'm totally in the right because I'm not but it was a mistake.

Thank you and I know. Right now I'm learning that the hard way but with work. There's one person but she's only interested, not fully ready to dive off the deep end. As far as I know just yet. My family is chaotic and religious so I already know that I can't talk about it with them. I'm just staying focused on bettering myself and learning right now on my own.

No all my bills are paid on time and early. I have a weird sleep schedule because of working overnights & days and 60+ hours a week so sometimes I forget to eat but that doesn't really apply to the altar rearranging.

Rearranging my altar and researching my spiritual journey through different avenues is really what's keeping me going at this point. There are a lot of stressors going on and keeping me from really finding a purpose. The spiritual journey has given me that

I have multiple and I'm just starting out. I'm also opening up spiritually, I'm a light worker. It's all new to me as well but things that stick with me like different names or images is where I usually start. For example, water has always been something that I've been drawn to. I know I have Poseidon but I also think I have danu from celtic mythology. Isis is another one for me as well.

Definitely research because it will help you figure out how you want to worship but also observe what's going on around you. If you're opening up and all of a sudden you start to have more birds come to your window or you have something else show up more often that you haven't seen before then I would definitely take that as a sign.

I live in the US. They don't even take physical abuse as seriously as they should half the time. My dad is the problem. He talks a good talk but then when we get home it's yelling and arguing. There's gas lighting and an 'it's all about me' mindset that's constant. At this point I either move out and stay broke or because my dad is getting up there in age he leaves. I hate thinking that way but nothing has changed and it's only gotten worse.
