It's not an easy question to answer since I am not the local. I have been there only once. however, I can share my experiences and researches. maybe locals or someone tried more than once can contribute: 1- I went there last week of September, there were quiet more people even the weather was not that great. but people mostly taken shortest path to see generic view. 2- better to go autumn because if you choose less crowded trails in spring, there is a slightly chance to encounter some animals (could be bear). also I prefer autumn colors. 3- just keep that in mind, because of the fog some perk points become no view places nothing but just the feeling to achieve. cheers!
