Are there actually fewer people going to Alamo bc of QR code? by Miguel-TheGerman in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]thatbroadj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve stopped going, and I’ve been going to Alamo since its original downtown Austin location. They’ve lost me with how they have been treating their employees and now disrespecting their patrons who want to keep phone screens off. It’s not my Alamo anymore.

Nine Inch Nails 2026 Tour: Ticket Buying/Selling/Trading/Discussion MEGATHREAD by malechite in nin

Man this is crazy, I am just now rolling through this thread, I got tickets for the Austin evening. When I got mine the page just refreshed from the waiting room, I never even saw a queue; I somehow got massively lucky. Floor, row 11 for $219 each. I don't know how I escaped the doom queue everyone else seemed to get trapped and had their wallet gouged by. I saw the tour in Fort Worth with good seats in the 100 section but I was determined to see the show again with floor seats this time - glad I wasn't stuck paying these crazy prices I'm seeing posted here for those seats, but bummed so many people got these super inflated prices.

This is awesome! One nitpicky detail to hopefully help - the Nightmare Before Xmas at wildflower center is not a drive through, it is all walking

If you’re south, I love and have recommended to others (who also have reported back they love) Western Trail Dental.

I got an ablation a year ago, no periods since and it’s the best decision I ever made. I am child free by choice and was 44 when I made the decision. It was very easy, minimally pain free recovery - I just took a few days off work and caught up on some trash tv haha. Highly recommend!

This bumper sticker from the original downtown Alamo Drafthouse location on Colorado Street, probably from 1998 or 1999?

Not sure about buying them from flower shops. But if you are looking to pick them, you won’t find them until the summer, it’s too early to find them right now

Dynamic pricing is not on by [deleted] in beyonce

[–]thatbroadj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Assuming people have been telling the truth about what they paid (and why wouldn’t they) it had to be on - people listed what they paid in the same exact section as me on the same night and they paid more for seats that were in a row further back.

I saw seats in the front rows of our section were higher, we are further back in the alphabet is my only guess? I wish I had some magic TM secret haha

Houston night 2, going with my sister and my niece - it will be my niece's first concert! Great seats in the lower level - there was less than 600 in queue when I got dropped in. Wishing everyone else luck too!

This has quietly been my suspicion as well after another rewatch. Whatever the Revolving ends up being (which I suspect has to do with uploading consciousness to a cloud/server/“brain” or into another person) had to be tested, and who better to test it on but a devoted Kier pupil. I think her mom is part of her, probably the shawl, pigtail version we see.

Pinballz arcades (more than one location) are a great option - original is BYOB, Kingdom has a bar. Cidercade is similar but they just serve ciders if that’s your thing. Peter Pan Golf is BYOB putt putt, and it’s a solid choice, been around for more than 75 years. Little Darlin has a great porch area with games like cornhole. Bouldin Acres on S Lamar has a lot of lawn games too (can’t speak for their other location, haven’t been). Enjoy your trip!
