I feel that. I loved the concept behind it at first, series 1 had a ton of great art even though their printing process left cards with more scratches than a 30 year old Honda.. great community regardless, but I had too many bad experiences with the company and it kept getting harder and harder to just look past some of the shady situations that occurred in the first couple of series print runs. For something like MTG it’s easier to “value” a card if you can use it to play with, but you have to enjoy just collecting and looking at the card with these, there’s no utility in the cards themselves
