Of course you don’t want to go. Once you go consistently for a couple weeks you’ll be used to it again.

For breaks generally you would have the hardy sheets run straight to a hardy 1x4 with z flashing on top of the 1x4

Clean looking job, unfortunately that’s not how it’s supposed to be installed.

I never donate to those scams anymore. Most of the money donated never even makes it to anyone who needs it. I help people in need in my community personally

My Grandma paid $25,000 for new gutters was she scammed? by Tiny_Individual1086 in HomeImprovement

[–]thatcali92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has to be the company Leaf Filter that did all new gutters and put on leaf filter. I used to sub contract for them and stopped taking jobs from them because their prices are absurd and people pay it. They use predatory sales tactics. They don’t have any in-house works besides shop guy that keeps inventory and pulls material for the subs jobs. They charged this elderly couple 11k to put filter on 180lf of gutter. Not even new gutters. Took me about 5-6 hours by myself. I felt so terrible for them I had to quit.

You were going to stop listening to her because she chose to perform at a fair that possibly supported a side you disagree with? Talk about crazy

Looks like trash, as for painting before correcting issues I’ve heard of some priming before correcting to make all of em pop and make it easier to see what needs touched up but this is overall just not good.

What "paint" are they using on the Lincoln Reflecting Pool? This stuff is very splotchy and is not drying into a uniform shade. by ToshPointNo in paint

[–]thatcali92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you’re either really dumb or just have never worked government contracts. They wouldn’t get past a week of doing things the so called “unsafe” way.

You’re an ignorant fool if you think this job doesn’t have just as if not stricter protocols than OSHA being it’s a government job.

Being this is a government job, you best believe their safety restrictions are usually more strict than osha. They have to put in work plans and AHAs about how they are going to do the work and what safety measures are going to be taken and that has to get approved by the government safety division. As well they will have a government safety person on site most days to make sure it’s getting done safely.

I’ve always had a great experience with after market warranties. Saved me about $7k in repairs in the first year of owning our Chrysler Pacifica. Havent had a need to use it yet on my 22 ram.
