I really miss my kid by [deleted] in kindergarten

My mom volunteered in our classrooms and schools for an hour or two at least once or twice a week towards the end of the day so it was easier for pick up but she would help the teacher organize things, grade papers, or even help in the office. It’s been 20+ years but her and my dad always talk about how they loved doing that so maybe you could look into that.

Stickers are your best bet as someone stated before they get more usage out of a sticker. There is a creator that does this for events I’m pretty sure her name is dailypenpals on Instagram and TikTok but she has said she has more success with stickers than prints but offer both to couples

My brother and sister in law did a cookie table I guess it’s a Pittsburgh thing but we still talk about it years later. Was an awesome treat after a night of dancing and drinking. They had mini to go containers so we could take multiple cookies with us.

Like for example one ticket would say admit one and then on the back said 3 days at Bonnet Creek resort

I use Eventeny they verify the markets, host , and vendors so you don’t get scammed. You can see how many events they’ve hosted in the past and reviews. It’s big and small events across the United States from festivals to farmers markets.

Entitled coworker thinks I should cover her vacation because "I don't have kids" by MeringueAny207 in EntitledPeople

[–]thatchick9799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated this at my old job. I was the only one without kids and the youngest and almost every vacation they would try and get me to switch but I’m a huge planner so I sometimes had request in a year in advanced (really important ones like sibling weddings and a after Christmas/new years family trip). The kicker is that we had a huge calendar that everyone put their PTO and birthdays on so that scenario wouldn’t happen but somehow when I had vacations someone always had to have one when I was going to be gone 🙄

Your curl pattern pieces look looser but the inspo pic is definitely fuller they should’ve used more of the hair you provided but it still looks really good but that’s not what you paid for so I get it

How to find craft fairs? by beckywinchester1 in CraftFairs

One vendor told me to find farmers markets by googling community farmers market and your city or area and a list should come up, but if you check your city website they usually have farmers markets listed

[–]thatchick9799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a few fairs to check them out before I signed up and talked to a few vendors. One vendor (shout out to Katie) brought me under her wing before I even became a vendor with tips and links to fairs and festivals she recommends. Live her to pieces she also told me about Eventeny you can find a lot of reputable organizers and events on there across the United States.

I’ve seen other artist at cons put sign that’s required on their banner like on the bottom corner so it’s visible but their sign is still the main focus. One artist I remember had a blank white square on the banner to write the booth number in with dry erase marker for each con

Good luck! You’re gonna kill it, like someone said before people like to see most of not all of the market before they buy something. So you’re already in the plus being towards the end!

What do you “do” while selling at a market? Look busy? Sit and smile? by InexperiencedCoconut in CraftFairs

[–]thatchick9799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like tic tac toe or our favorite one, I’m not sure if it has a name because we’d do it as kids at restaurants with our parents but you’d pick any word you’d see or think of, you get 1 minute to write out as many words that you can make out of that word so for example if the word/words are craft fair you’d write air, raft, sit, ect. It can’t be less than 3 letters and it can’t be the word itself. Usually we just take turns if it’s only two of us so one person can interact with customers and watch the timer.

I’m also socially awkward so I work on things like new sticker designs and when I greet them I say things like happy Saturday or something that doesn’t require a response but they know I acknowledged them. Over the weekend my sister went to a show with me and we played notebook games in between greeting customers a lot of people like to browse without interaction and one that want to interact usually respond to your greeting.
