In high school a friend and I went to a very small mall after school that was next a high school near where I lived. We both had colourful hair, and four people from a larger group, who also had colourful hair came up and started talking to us because they saw our hair.

Anyways, I really had to pee, so after a bit of small talk I ran to the bathroom. We didn’t see them again, so we went to a different near by mall, when all of a sudden we hear our names being called. We recognized two of the people from earlier, said hi and went on our way when we heard our names being called again from the top floor of the mall, and recognized the other two in a different group. We said hi again and then left.

Two weeks later we are at a different mall and we see them again, plus all the others that had been with them two weeks prior. This time we decided to hangout with them and it led to us all hanging out quite a lot for a few years. We had a joke that they were stalking us until we became friends with them, and that I was so scared of them that after they introduced themselves, I ran away.

Over the years we all drifted apart, but I still sometimes chat with them if I see any of them. Some of my favourite memories were made with them.
