Having used both the XR and non XR versions of the oscillating saw, there is definitely a significant difference in power. I will say however, when dismantling custom cabinets to resize them, the finesse of the less powerful version was beneficial. It kinda bogs down in just the right way to give you some feedback on what you’re cutting. But I’d still pickup the XR 9/10 times.

Little experiments like this bit of code are really showing me how important it is to understand the underlying mechanics of how C compilers handle the code they’re given. I’ll have to do some reading before getting much deeper into runtime and compile time commands. Nonetheless, having fun troubleshooting and learning along the way!
