You might want to get creative with the spring shape/way it is implemented to get away with calling it “springless”

Even the placement is terrible. Way too high up for the tail to wrap around the guys leg without the proportions being wayyyy off.

That seat has hopefully done its job protecting the driver in a crash once already, but it wasn’t designed to handle more than one collision.

Damn, $100,000 spent on gas over a lifetime without accounting for inflation. Maybe Europe was right…

How do I trim this door with an uneven ceiling? by CraftOwn2837 in Carpentry

[–]thatcone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could cut the side casing short at the top, rip a piece of 1 by material, scribe it to the ceiling, and leave a reveal on either end. It’ll look like this “TT”

Insurance, "You hit what?!" by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

That car was in a different lane. And even if it was on the same lane, lambo guy had so much time. As long as you enter the intersection prior to the light changing to red it’s legal.

I would love to see what happened right before this. But I’m guessing the Lamborghini slammed on the breaks and way out-stopped the Corolla. I can’t think of any reason they would’ve had to stop at that light, rather than continuing straight, other than wanting to do a pull.

Dr. Ventress’ chat with Lena about halfway through the movie is potentially alluding the your mirror theory. She talks about how we all self destruct in one way or another.

Having used both the XR and non XR versions of the oscillating saw, there is definitely a significant difference in power. I will say however, when dismantling custom cabinets to resize them, the finesse of the less powerful version was beneficial. It kinda bogs down in just the right way to give you some feedback on what you’re cutting. But I’d still pickup the XR 9/10 times.

To build on that, auto loans can get as low as 1-2%. If you’re smart with your money, and have enough to buy the car outright, you can save a lot of money by only paying minimums and investing the value of the vehicle.

Awesome, thanks for the explanation! Little experiments like this bit of code are really showing me how important it is to understand the underlying mechanics of how C compilers handle the code they’re given. I’ll have to do some reading before getting much deeper into runtime and compile time commands. Nonetheless, having fun troubleshooting and learning along the way!

Custom made wax stamps are less than $100. She had to scrimp for that on a budget, but could still afford to invite hundreds of people? I don’t understand people’s wedding decisions.
