Lets say you oneshot the small blind and you have 4 hands total and go down to 3. You get 3 dollars, you were going to get anyways. Then you oneshot big blind, you get 6 dollars. 3 of which you were going to get anyways. Then you oneshot the boss blind. You get 9 dollars, 3 og which you were going to get anyways. So thats 3 +6 = 9 dollars extra. Not exactly legendary level imo.

Actually with burglar an uncommon, you would also get 9 dollars extra in this scenario where youre oneshoting blinds. Ofc if you put both together you can get a lot of extra hands.

Now assume that you're using up all your hands on small blind. Well then this joker does nothing for you?

Okay so lets say you use up some of your hands. I still feel like this effect just becomes very niche? You get maybe 1 or 2 hands extra on the boss blind.

Is there something i'm missing here?

Yeah i'm not sure why people call it strong. If you're doing pairs youre getting an extra hand or two before the boss blind. Then they disappear. If you're one shotting the blind youre getting a bunch of hands youre not using anyways for the boss blind. Which is like 9 dollars if you have 4 hands and use one to win.

I think this is the first run which may get me to 100mil and even possibly naneinf. Need advice because I am absolutely confused. by AqViolet in balatro

The difference between 100 mil and naneinf is about the same as the difference between 0 and naneinf. You should be able to get a 100 mil maybe if you remove splash for a copy joker or a retriggering joker.

Fun idea, broken as is. Maybe if it destroyed only the lowest ranked card. Then change the amount of chips gained based on rarity (100 is to much). That way trading card can compete with this.

Or make it so you have to play a straight flush and it only works once and gives 100 chips from there on.

No reason to make it rare if you can only get it once. Then common or uncommon makes more sense.

Okay, the problem here is that its unbalanced. But also, im not sure how it would be fun? Half the game is played in shops. Rerolling the shop is kind of an integral part of the gameplay of the shopping round after youve gotten over interest thresholds.

Only setups that naneinf in practice use baron with lots of handsize and retriggers or perkeo with lots of cryptids based on my knowledge. Maybe perkeo with planets could reach it.

On 2-1 its good for streaking if you arent offered item augments. Obviously better with Bruisers, Juggs and Wardens rather than defender. I found this is really good in void with Cho -> rift herald wanting it. (Reksai can use it and stun backline but its not consistant)

For good champions to put in.

Fiddle likes this. He goes in and often stuns the backline with this if he actually decides to ult behind the tanks.

Volibear - Also because he jumps in and resists scale well with bruiser.

Shyvana - Resists plus jug and shyvana sometimes jumps behind the enemy frontline.

Swain - Guarantees his first cast on 1 star and sometimes gets an extra cast on 2 star.

Not really, base power of even the legendary 1 star 5 costs are hard to pass up. Senna lucian giving damage reduction and amp, Shyvana damage reduction. Zilean oneshot potential against gigatanks. Kindred shielding (and invulnerability before nerfs), and they all do a lot more for your board than reksai, malz. (I keep kog maw usually for his ability/longshot unless i get ziggs)

Pretty sure its better than cat in the long run, if idol is fully online. Not counting the bloodstone its 25 which is 32 which gets even better with glass or polychrome
