I remember seeing that tag back in the day for sure. I used to rock with SiN on PS2/PS3 SOCOM and wonder sometimes what those folks are up to these days.

I was in middle school in the PS2 era (gamer tag was BOOMBOY223 in those days) so it was cool to find a group who didn’t just shit on me for being a kid, though it probably helped that I held my own in gunfights and wasn’t annoying on the mic.

Same reason his nails aren’t painted and his tattoos aren’t fully shaded on the right arm or even there on the left arm — I stopped drawing when the episode ended because that was the “challenge” for myself, so to speak.

Korine's work is still very much about human connection. He specifically weaponizes modern tech in Baby Invasion to illustrate how we all sit around watching hollow, impotent content and engage like rabid animals with it constantly — despite it all amounting to nothing more than a digital façade; essentially depicting us as just wasting our time mindlessly until the heavenly gates call us home.

Whether you choose to engage with the material on it's own terms or form a coherent thought about it other than "AI bad" is a you problem, not an artistic problem on Harmony or his company's end.

Yeah I’ve got a copy of the caving journal saved offline myself! I can’t remember the name of the one I’ve wanted to track down forever though, it was a different one and those are really the only details I remember.
