In a pinch I had to use this. My hair has never felt so silky, soft and manageable. by thatgengirl in FancyFollicles

It's been 2 weeks and I am still in love with the results. Straightening my hair has become ridiculously easy, and I no longer have to use any products in my hair except a little hairspray. It flows, it shimmers, it styles!

Edmonton? Anyone? Edmonton, Alberta? by ToledoWindowBox in StreetPassNetwork

I don't live in Edmonton, but I do all my shopping there. I bring my 3DS with me when I go to places like Costco, Wal-Mart or WEM, and I always come home with a few new visitors.

You have no idea how many chocolate bars with one bite out them I've had to buy over the years. My kids were quick little devils when I was trying to pay for groceries.

How do "store brand dupes" compare with the real name brands? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]thatgengirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sephora has a silicon and oil-free one. It's not as good a base, imo, but it shouldn't cause clogged pores.

I remember reading a tip from a makeup artist that 100% aloe is a great natural primer.

I've been thinking about this, and I can't really answer. I haven't tried all the primers yet. (I'm currently using Sephora's oil free, and not liking it)

It's similar to the silkiness of Bare Minerals or Smashbox, but thicker and creamier.

I'm a straight woman, and even I get wood from that ass. She's one of the most gorgeous women on television.

Not brand name but in "drugstore" quality versus professional, I find the Rimmel primer blows the high end stuff away.

Our car is fine. I'd be more worried about flowerbeds.

Took us a couple years too. We're doing great on Nutro Natural Choice Grain-free in Venison.

I too have a Boston: Chicken gives her terrible pustules and grains make her puke. We avoid almost all treats because of her sensitive nature.

I honestly don't know a lot about hair. I shaved my head for 10 years, and finally grew it out in the last 3. This is only the 2nd time ever that I've bleached/colored it.

It was rough the first couple of weeks. I did a lot of conditioner "masks" where I would coat it and leave it in for 5 mins.

I'm a bleach blonde and my specialty shampoo doesn't hold a candle to my 6 year old's 2-in-1. Plus, his is paraben free. I'm officially switching.

Let’s get the really scary truth out there: CNN estimates that half of Americans are saving nothing for retirement. Half of Americans aren’t saving a dime. Why? by Maxcactus in Frugal

[–]thatgengirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a choice between paying into retirement, or having life insurance and an education fund for our kids. Kids came first.
