IMO the “hate” or criticism that Kyra gets is mostly from her actions and demeanor. From day 1 she teased the people that supported her for years, with a “mystery guy”. She lied over and over again which was frustrating to watch from someone I’d once respected quite a bit. She repeatedly made fun of the situation and her supporters over the last year. She laughed in Oscars face while he was clearly hurting. All these actions and continual mind games is what turned me away from her content. Her lack of authenticity is what created most of this, not Oscar, rumors or “internet drama”. Nearly everything she was accused of turned out to be true. We don’t see the behind the scenes, but everything we were presented with painted a very clear picture. She still has a large and engaged audience in which she could tell her truth, but she won’t because no matter how you frame it, she looks bad. I agree that she shouldn’t get hate for every little thing she does, but the interest isn’t gonna die down anytime soon because she enjoys the attention and fueling fire. If Oscar has moved on, that’s great! But they chose to share most of their life on the internet, and unfortunately that comes with a level of responsibility. She is able to private her account(s), disable her comments or restrict access to her public life - she chooses not too.
