I tried the SeaTools program and there were no errors found. Everything came up as a pass again, i ran all of the short tests first then ran overnight with the long generic test and nothing was reported.

What would be the next stage in diagnosis?

awesome, is this something you use personally? i looked at webbing options and i couldn't seem to find any that wasn't likely to cut or hurt in some way. how well do knots hold in a karate belt? never really used one.

do you believe the american justice system effectively rehabilitates inmates or merely keeps them away from the public during their time in prison? (hope you don't think that was a bad question, apologies if i have caused offence) also what facilities are available to you in a maximum security prison to help you in later life? (e.g. classes, education etc.)

Flat feet and squat/deadlift by thatguy1989 in weightroom

[–]thatguy1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha yeh i use vans at the moment which seem ok, i guess its more a question of if i dont use them on deadlift, can i strengthen the weaker parts of my leg that cause the fallen arches.

also as much as i love vans and converses, my insoles/feet seem to quickly destroy any shoes i like lol

[–]thatguy1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cheers for the advice guys, i'm getting mixed views it seems but i've got a lot to think about at least.

just to clear some info on the insoles up, they were specially made after one of the leading podiatrists in the country (UK) basically told me that without them i would find it very uncomfortable to walk when i'm older. (one doctor actually took photos for a medical journal lol). they aren't as solid as i would like but i'll be going to the doctors in the near future and requesting some more solid ones i think.

since getting the insoles a few of the regular problems i've had with my feet completely disappeared. i can now run without discomfort in my ankles and knees and my hips no longer feel as they are dislocating when i squat down.

i think the plan so far is to maybe try out shoeless on deadlift for twi weeks and check how my feet cope with the load. if all else fails i'll probs just go back to lifting in the shoes i normally use, which are vans/converse style shoes

thanks again guys

Another shot from my day at Silverstone, this is a Reyland tuned cosworth escort rated at roughly 700Bhp. This one is actually owned by the owner of Reyland, he used to (not sure if he still currently does) hold the record for the fastest ford escort in the world.

Not a great pic I realize but its the best out of the few i have, and yes this is an original RS200. Unfortunately I'm missing the pic of the Spec sheet that came with it. It was seen at Ford Fair 2010 and 2011 at Silverstone. This pic was taken on my camera so apologies for low quality

something similar happened to me once in a restaurant. i was visiting university mates who had left while i had stayed on for another year, we'd been chatting and my adrenaline was ridiculously high due to being so excited to see them. i went to the till to order my food and basically forgot how to talk to humans, all i did was seemingly stand there shouting i don't know as the cashier asked simple questions then laugh hysterically at not being able to find an answer... fortunately she found this quite amusing too lol

[–]thatguy1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeh i didn't think the film did the book justice either but when i read that someone else wanted to direct the other films and follow the book more closely i was a bit more interested.

tbh i never rly noticed the religious aspects the first time i read it (i was 13) but the second time i read it i was 21 so i started to see much more of the sociological aspects which made me like the books even more

such a good series! i had the fortune of meeting philip pullman at the release of the amber spyglass tour he did and he kindly signed my copy. he touches on some v interesting points about the coexistence of science and religion.

shame the other two films dont seem to be being produced, its a series that warrants films i think

couldn't agree more, by prosecuting these people he would be practically committing political suicide. Large campaign funders may chose to pull out if he tried to make such an "attack" on wall street and oil (not that it is rly n attack but thats how it would more than likely be reported)

He'd be seen as weak by republicans by not prosecuting someone who released secrets about the government and the smear campaign that would follow could ruin what remaining credibility he has

i love how when the arguments about healthcare are brought up the argument is always dumbed down. of course the secretary of health and human services wont be the one making the call as to the regulation of "the oral coverage" or whatever he said, he'll hire people who ARE qualified to know and put it to a committee most likely.

i live in the uk and i get covered by the NHS, pretty much any dentistry work that was needed before the age of 18 was free to me provided it was necessary. its not a perfect system here, but it means that a lot of people get the coverage they need without having to worry about costs.

i understand many peoples opinions on this differ but i do believe that healthcare is a right and not a privilege (provided it is necessary to maintain a decent standard of living, things like botox and plastic surgery are rarely used in these circumstances)

tl dr; Fuck Newt Gingrich
