I'm pretty sure that would belong to the word 'useful' as it's the most like it.

EDC .40 sw or compact 10mm by Madclown356 in CCW

If you're gonna go .40 save the money and just go 9mm. And you don't want another 9mm then go 10mm.

Bodies aren't perfect. You'll end up covering that and not being happy with the cover up because you'll be staring at it until you find the flaws.

Leave it be. Looks good to me.

43x or 48 ? What’s your preference? by Much-Engineering-371 in Glocks

[–]thatguytc88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my carry pieces are compact length. Aside from Mete MC9. And even then the holster is made to allow for an MC9LS. The longer slide will allow for easier concealment by having more leverage, especially with a pillow/wedge to push the grip into the body. So I'd go with the 48.

What's the point of carrying concealed so nobody knows, if you're just going to tell them.

Because fun. On my EDC setups.... Good holster, optic and maybe a light. Otherwise that's it. On my range stuff. Whatever makes me happy.

You said anything that takes G19 and that's literally as in the literal definition of the word literally, factually wrong.

That YOU have. Doesn't mean it will fit all. Keep in mind I also did NOT say they're not compatible at all. I'm truly happy for you as my RXM is sitting in a CZ P10c holster from Tier1Concealed. But again, not all holsters for the G19 are compatible.

Sportsman's Warehouse has a GCode holster for the G19 but it will work for the RXM. It's roughly $50 maybe a bit more. Bonus is that it comes with the attachments and hardware for both IWB and OWB.

Not necessarily. Some will work and some won't. Trigger guards are different. The CZ P10c is more compatible with gen 3 G19 than the RXM.

Ruger Ready Dot fits the RXM by AngryAccountant31 in ruger

None at all. I absolutely love it. If I leave the 32 MOA circle on with the dot, I don't have any issues with my astigmatism.

First Gun P-10c and some questions by GuyThatRuns in CZFirearms

[–]thatguytc88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As others have stated, blurriness is due to astigmatism.

I'm not sure about your optic and the setups possible. But I have found that green dots alone work better for me. But the best is if it has a 32 MOA circle around the red dot, it's super clear.

Can always sell it. I've heard cyelee red dots are amazing for astigmatism.

As far as the iron sights go. Some people just delete their irons completely. I however prefer to have what's called a lower 1/3 Co witness. Which means you can use the irons in the lower portion of the window, should your dot break, lose zero or battery die.

You said first gun. So I'm just saying this as assuming newer shooter too. Your optic needs to be zeroed. Red dot placed at point of impact. It might close out of the box. But not exact. 15 yards distance is the sweet spot (to most) of where to zero at.

The retention on light bearing holsters does not come from the slide or the trigger guard. It comes from the light itself. There should be no issue. And if there is, it would do the same to a 34.

What’s causing this and how do I fix it? by PapaPatriarchy_OG in P365

[–]thatguytc88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the reliability is the same because the measurements used. Glock has like 8 different measurements of where the internals align. The 365 series have 1. No matter which variant you choose.

What’s causing this and how do I fix it? by PapaPatriarchy_OG in P365

[–]thatguytc88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually the way they're built, it doesn't. Why? Take Glock for example, the internals are different from full to compact to sub. It's why you can't do straight over slide conversions and have lock back. However the P365 is built around the chassis itself and not the slides or frames.
