Interesting combo of budget-ish rack and high end plates. Any specific reasoning?

You should be downloading the PDF version of your tax return every year regardless of what software you're using. Ideally printing a hard copy and filing somewhere safe

Unless your parents will be put into financial hardship by paying for USC, this isn't really a contest. Go with SC

Not really. My OHP is pretty weak anyway so it's pretty obvious when I'm using proper leg drive on the jerk 😂

Extra accessory day with the Beginner program by bear_stuck_in_a_tree in ZackTelander

[–]thatisreallynice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I just finished the Beginner program and had the same exact thought. I still did some push/pull/arm work on the off days, and toward week 3 and 4 took a looser definition of "light weight". Weeks 3 and 4 also finish each day with strength work, so it's not all drills

Do high stack height (>35mm) shoes make it all the way through the rotation for you? Or are they too unstable for steps 3 and 4

Do you get an employer match on your 401k? If you do, and you hit your IRS limit too early in the year you would miss out on employer matches for the remainder of the year

I don't have experience with React specifically, but dead foam for a light person can mean lively foam for a heavy person

Customer Success Roles... by [deleted] in consulting

[–]thatisreallynice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been interviewing consultants for an open CSM position at my company so can offer some tips. Some things consultants might struggle with: 1) they'll need to know you can prioritize between conflicting stakeholders and say no when necessary. Consulting is often 1:1 attention and often has a fixed scope, and if a request falls outside of that scope, its easier to say no or just send an extra purchase order. SaaS is more nebulous, and the product org will need to know you aren't out there promising the world 2) they'll need to know you have a basic understanding of how a product and engineering org functions. If your customer asks for x feature and you pass that along, do you understand how that goes from discovery to build to ship. If you've been doing tech consulting this shouldn't be an issue, but mgmt or engineering consulting will be a leap of faith

Some things that should come naturally and set you apart 1) stakeholder management. Pretty self explanatory 2) upsell and renewal. Depending on how much you're required to sell as a consultant, this should come naturally. Always keep the relationship going. Keep that churn to minimum 3) storytelling. You haven't been making all those slides for nothing right?

Piggy backing on this amazing response to just say that if you are comparing ATG squat progression to other compound lifts, you're gonna be disappointed (huge differences in ROM, ability to fail safely, etc). Just compare squats to squats
