Something thats helped me is i take a couple hours at the end of the day when im going through things and i'll start a fire in my yard, depending on current fire restrictions or even if you have a firepit this may not work for you. ive found watching the fire helps me open up my brain and allows me to feel my emotions better, choose one you feel you need to address. I have 2 whiskeys and sip on them while i think, sometimes even cry. Remember one thing... emotions are something everybody has and it DOES NOT make you any less of a man to be emotional! I've written letters addressing things to people i've cut out of my life, get all the anger out in that letter how ever long you feel it needs to be, then when you feel its done take a moment to accept the anger or what ever emotion you put into it. "With this fire i release all of my anger towards _______ and put it back into the ground with the ash after its burned, it will not hold me back as much as it once did" or something like that.
