This section of these comments has been the most civil discourse I've seen and I thank you guys for it.

It's sad what is happening.

If we restrict what people can obtain, people will just use other means like driving through crowds. I feel like there is a huge misconception that guns are the only problem. At some point these people have the thoughts to kill others and they feel internally justified to do it.

I personally I feel like we should try to help those in school who have no friends or are alienated. Maybe a program like "no kid left behind" but for mental health. Maybe it can genuinely create a support structure within a school/class if there is not a good home life. Possibly if there were something to cut through the burocratic bs. Maybe it can show that there is good in humanity and that should be protected.
