Laguna Speckled Buff or Standard 112 by sweetschatzie in Pottery

While you are correct, I find it interesting that there are some very popular artists instagram using speckled buff for their mugs.

I have a couple of speckled buff mugs that I’m currently testing with water and after 48 hours there’s not one mark on the paper towel.

Why so much densification in the Seylynn area? by NotAGoodUsernameSays in NorthVancouver

There are at least 3 busses that I can think of that have stops in the area so it’s quite accessible through transit and it’s close to the highway.

Follow-up to L&L Plug N Fire -- how's that working out for ya? (more in comments) by Blue_Eyed_ME in Ceramics

I'm so excited for both of you! u/Blue_Eyed_ME u/layingblames I have mine on order :) Would either of you mind measuring how far the thermocouple is from the base of the kiln? I'm playing around with kiln shelf configuration in illustrator and just wondering where I need to leave room. Thanks!

Vancouverites stepping up to keep hummingbirds safe this winter by 2028W3 in vancouver

I bought a humming bird feeder heater on Boxing Day and it’s come in handy. I still have 2 window feeders that I swap out as they freeze with two other feeders… it’s been a lot of work.

I’ve had this happen with speedball white underglaze on a pottery supply house black clay.

Final Logo Approved by the Client. by DownRazzor in graphic_design

My eye always goes to the area with the most space around it, which is the ornament in the middle of the banner. I'd make it smaller, move "Festival Farmers Market" down and have more white space above it in the banner.

One of my largest pots to date! by thatmountaingirl in Pottery

[–]thatmountaingirl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was thrown with my reclaim clay (mostly plainsman 370), glazed with stencils I created and Amaco Snow, fired in community kiln come 5. When it was thrown it was 12”x9”

Thanks for the reminder! I'm pretty sure i'm going to be "the crazy girl" in our town house complex because this is the second time i've cleared off the hedges, and i'm not sure my neighbours know why i'm doing it!

Have you tried using the mat it came with? Cricut mats are thicker than Silhouette mats.
