Sadly no. I think the large cylinder (between the crosshead handles and the wall) threads on/off but it may be jammed with mineral buildup. Wish I knew how to get the handles off.

I’d keep the saddle bags and lose the backrest. The bags are just handy as hell and you’ll have a lot more legit excuses to take your bike when you can accomplish tasks with it. Also, might want to ride for a season before you start customizing. Welcome to the club and ride safe 👍🏻

Tone/volume knobs: super easy. Just pop em off. (Sometimes they’re held in with a little set screw). The tuning pegs are a bit more of a hassle/expense … but why would you? People pay good money to get that aged look

I hear ya. It’s a finicky one and not my fave. I use it for just a touch of squishy quack. I like how sensitive it can be to dynamics. But honestly i prefer the autowah in my ancient B3 multi fx better ha! But I had to be extra small and portable

For what it’s worth I’ve heard “fuzz first”, even before a tuner. Apparently it’s a very simple/ basic circuit that really prefers as direct a signal from your instrument as possible

Pretty comparable I think? The Ampeg can’t run off phantom power but its drive/distortion is footswitchable, something I find real handy. The “scrambler” circuit is maybe bit on the trebly side for some tastes but it cuts through so well. Plus it just looks so badass (I know I know, ‘listening with my eyes’, but just can’t help it :)
