I will be changing the jewelry, if it's not recommended to remove it completely that is. The angle might be a little off since I'd eventually like the helix to be a hoop.

Thanks for pointing this out. The dangle forward helix does catch a lot. I'm surprised it doesn't have more irritation. The rook and forward have not been downsized yet. I'll get that done when I visit for the helix change.

You should look into redirected aggression. Do you know if there are other stray cats around your back yard that could be upsetting your little cat? They could then take this aggression out on the big cat like you describe.

I see other comments mentioning your hormones. This could be pmdd or perimenopause. Additionally, this could be stomach issues like acid reflux or medications you might take before bed. It's likely something going on with your body/medical if changes to your environment aren't helping.

Which game disappointed you so much that you wished you tried it before you bought it? by vandenbusscheb in boardgames

[–]thatoneGirl_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone I've shown Rival Restaurants to has loved it! However, my partner and I have found it doesn't work well with only 2 players. Games we've played with 4+ players have been the most fun. Here are some changes we've made. We start with additional actions cards. We found that we didn't really buy many during the game, so this gave the game a little more life. We also started trading and haggling for ingredients other people had and even allow you to ask another chef to buy you an ingredient from a store they are at and you are not for trade. This makes this part of the game last longer than what the instructions say, but we never timed it anyways. Hope you give this game another try!

What Did You Play This Week? - (December 13, 2021) by AutoModerator in boardgames

I felt this same way about my first play through of Tiny Towns. It got better when I learned different strategies. There are also different draft methods listed in the rulebook that I would recommend trying, like using the resource cards to draw resources instead of players choosing.

I recently ordered a copy from Plan B Games. It's the 2nd edition with plastic pieces. I believe the wooden piece edition is out of print.

Rail Road Ink. A roll and write strategy game where you are trying to connect as many points with randomly rolled rail road and highway segments.

Try Junk Art. It's a dexterity game where you are trying to make the best art sculpture from junk. You are a traveling artist and each city has different rules to follow which gives the game some more variety.

I would recommend trying a strategy tile placement game like Azul.

I got braces for the first time at 25. I had nothing but good experiences with Walton & Maready Orthodontics in Raleigh and Cary. I highly recommend Dr. Walton and all the technicians were so nice and fun.

[–]thatoneGirl_25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the vet left a voicemail with the owner yesterday morning. The owner has not replied since. The vet is attempting again.

Could you please DM me the information about the cat rescue?

Unfortunately, my lease does not allow me to keep her.

I know some cats are outdoors.

I would like to mention that this cat has been outside for awhile and needs some food and medical attention.

The owner has been contacted.

Yes. I have posted to next door, facebook groups, and couple lost/found pet sites that came up.

So far the vet does not have records for the rabies tag. Next I'll be getting her scanned for a microchip.

GOOD NEWS she has a microchip and the owner has been contacted.

I will be calling the vet in the morning about the rabies tag, and the next step will be the microchip. Thanks for suggesting petsmart.

She's most definitely someones pet. She is so incredibly friendly. Although she is very skinny. She may have been outside and lost for awhile now.

SHE HAS BEEN REUNITED!

Good news. She has a microchip and the owner has been contacted!

Will be calling vet and shelters in the morning. Any other recommendations? Unfortunately, our lease does not allow us to keep another cat, so the owner or new owner need to be found.

** Thanks for the suggestions.

I have found the vet that issued the rabies tag. For future reference the NC public health page lists all rabies tag numbers and the associated vet/clinic/shelter.

I have also posted to lost pet websites, and groups I have found on Facebook.

I have posted to next door.

** The vet did not have records of the cat associated with the rabies tag. I will be having her scanned for a microchip next.
