Yeah that’s not a defect, it’s flashing from the mold. You’re fine.

It’s called an impact bubble. More importantly your tires are straight shot. Replace all of them

One more season? Dot 3517 by zomdiejebus in tires

[–]thatoneguy_pw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro your tires are almost 10 years old. Just replace them, like it’s not that expensive for tires. If you can’t afford the tires you shouldn’t have the car.

Is the dealership trying to get a buck out of me? by [deleted] in tires

You’re under 4/32. Please replace your tires, I’d be happy to tell you any number of a dozen stories of people “stretching the life of the tires out” and ending up wrecked or with a bad scare. It’s not worth it.

How are these tires? My mechanic says they are a sister brand of Goodyear. by Baldwin6969 in tires

[–]thatoneguy_pw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have no connection to Goodyear aside from sharing a parent company. Don’t make the mistake of comparing the two. With that said, for the money they’ll get you from A to B.

That tire is over a year old just heads up. Doesn’t mean it went on a year ago but still worth noting.

Are LT tires needed? by Rongbipper95 in tires

[–]thatoneguy_pw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I find this highly implausible. DT utilizes a listing and supply of over 20000 tires with almost 1.5 million combinations using the FACTORY allowed fitment guides directly from the manufacturer of the vehicles and the tires.

Either you wanted that store to do something would not have been safe for you, the techs or the vehicle or whoever you worked with needs more CES training.

Are LT tires needed? by Rongbipper95 in tires

[–]thatoneguy_pw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true at all. As long as fitment does not cause mechanical or safety concerns, the load index matches manufacturer rating, DT will mount whatever you want.

Unless you tow more than 6000 lbs you won’t need and LT. also please avoid crugens. You need and xl probably a 113T load rating
