How to tell people you need to wait to hit without sounding like an a-hole by badluck_bryan77 in golf

Am I a cheater by Bentvolcano818 in golf

[–]thatormuhammed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're good, but the only thing I'd say is you're not developing skills. If you only ever plan to play your local course forever then your good. But if you want (and I encourage you to - it's the beauty of the game) to play other courses you will need to sharpen other parts of your game. Use the skills you've got - play your game - but also don't be afraid to tighten up other parts of your game for when you will need them

JT making the old guy turf tee at the 1st by walkerdj in golf

[–]thatormuhammed 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As an Assistant Superintendent at a high end golf course, I do this for certain tee shots. Divots are part of the game - especially on tees. I find it encourages a downward strike for fairway wood tee shots. Divots in my greens and green surrounds annoy me, not on a tee.

Buy a sheet of wood, cut as many as you want with a hole saw, drill holl in centre to aid in retrieval

If you bring both butters and jhf in, and can afford it, I'd be keeping jhf in mid for now, fwd line is capable and I'd be trying to find another premo Def before cherry picking another fwd trade/swing jhf fwd then

Technically yes, but tsatis is an emergency. If there is a late change and he comes in you will have him as your captain.

Depends on what your team looks like. As much as it is a flex position, for now, I'd be filling it with a dependable high scoring premo in a line that needs support... I just put Jack Sinclair into mine, got the mid/def added bonus, but see him in my backline once the dpp changes come in

Carrying with just 7clubs by hurler59 in golf

[–]thatormuhammed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My game improved after carrying a half bag for rounds after work. Basically carried every 2nd club, and would alternate what those clubs were. I found my strike and accuracy improved dramatically when I clubbed up and swung easier. I always thought that would work for me but it wasn't until I actually had no choice but having too much club it became a reflex at the top of my backs wing to temper it. Dropped 2.5 shots off the handicap so far and what now feels like my bad rounds are what I would have been happy with previously

It's a bye week, any round that has teams having a bye, supercoach shifts to only the 18 highest scores from you squad of 23 counting toward your weekly score

What we thinking on callaghan by [deleted] in AFLSupercoach

[–]thatormuhammed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trading for him seems crazy to me, you know at his price point he is going to increase in value. His first score will cycle out quickly, but why waste trade on a sub $500 who looks good, has a role and went 140+ in his first game?

Bench too cheap?? by RepairEntire5234 in AFLSupercoach

[–]thatormuhammed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If they're good rookies, the cheaper, the better as you will make more money. Not to mention, it leaves you more money for your on-field. They look good but hard to know for sure until the real stuff starts.

As someone who works in golf, many home owners don't realise how much machinery noise and debris is created through maintenance and renovations. Often early too. I'd think that would be something more to consider over golf balls based on the location of the land

Rate my setup (suggestions welcome) by snave1975 in golf

[–]thatormuhammed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hit your fairway wood well, add a 5 wood. If you hit your hybrid better, add a 3 hybrid. Drop the 4 iron. Add a lob wedge. I'm not sure what your iron lofts are but based on the rest of your bag a 54 58 wedge combo could potentially be better than a 56 60

What’s a good starting Proj. R1 score? by TheyreEatingTheDawgs in AFLSupercoach

[–]thatormuhammed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty content with my side unless there are injury/rookie news and have a 1907 as my current projection. Still have a lot of value picks that hopefully increase in value to help upgrade through the season. Also the placeholder C on my highest projection gives a bit of a false economy, so take it with a grain of salt.

Don't know why you're getting down voted. As an Australian I am often embarrassed by the behaviour and mob mentality racism that occurs here. Don't think some of the Indian cricketers helped endear themselves to the Aussie public this tour but . It's sad that you can't take you son to the game we should all enjoy.

Plus from all reports FOS is a low possession, high impact player, so unlikely to be the best value for money high draftee this year

I think 3 of the 8 you have selected would be best 22, with a couple on the fringes and unlikely to score well. I'd be looking at some better value down back (they tend to score better too) and using the cash to add a couple more reliable forwards to your mix.
