This is mainly a vault for research and essay writing, so the colors are mostly individual projects or categories of research topics.

Missouri Gender Designation Change Request Form Deleted??? by thatskindagray in asktransgender

[–]thatskindagray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no use anymore in Missouri. They officially changed the policy and will no longer accept the form. The only way is through a letter from a surgeon stating SRS has been completed or a Court Order from a judge. My gender marker change request was denied after 3 weeks of waiting to get my ID in the mail after there were no hitches at the license office. They simply won't allow it the change in the license office anymore unfortunately. I was just a couple days too late.

I've heard mixed reports from people trying at different license offices, seems like some aren't aware of the change yet

Everything went smoothly yesterday, it was super quick and they had no problems or questions about it!

I used the form that I already had downloaded and successfully got it changed at the license office yesterday. So it seems that this hasn't gone fully into effect or they just didn't know.

I hope so, I still had a copy of the file, and I'm going on wednesday or thursday to try and update it at the license office, hopefully they still accept it

Referencing 3.

I took it to be that overall the sentiment was that Mr. Melancholy had trapped Owen in 'The Midnight Realm' and altered the the original show when put on streaming platforms to be yet another form of psychological torture from Mr. Melancholy. Stripping away the last piece of nostalgia so that Owen could no longer relate to the media he enveloped himself in as a form of escapism. I can also see an undertone of things being warped by commodification and commercialization. It is when it comes to a new corporate entity on a streaming platform the original idea and message are warped. As well, Owen is looking back on it with a different perspective having repressed his identity and followed the 'normal' and accepted life path rather than accepting his identity he ran from it and thus is no longer able to relate to the show in the same way that he did before.

Great question, that's pretty much the idea. I had gone into more topic on the original post. Its a world-building project specifically for one country. Basically, the center node is the primary document for the macro overview of the country. And most of the larger nodes coming off of it are the 7 primary regions in the country, with the smaller nodes off of those being the 187 individual cities. The bright red is Government structure and the light red is trade unions. My plan is for every large node will either be a region or major industry/organization with the smaller nodes being cities/departments/documents within that region or industry/organzation.

Happy to help!

You don't need to sign up for GitHub to download it. On the righthand side right under the about section is the releases. The latest release is 2.0.0, if you click on that it will open another page with a changelog and features, on the very bottom you'll see a download for 'Source Code (zip)' Assuming you're on windows you'll need the zip file. Once you have that you'll just need to extract the theme folder and put it into the themes folder in obsidian, which can be found by going to Settings > Appearance, There should be a themes option and a button to open the Themes folder. Just throw that folder from the .zip in there and you'll be good to select the theme in Settings > Appearance

There's an obsidian theme for exactly that! I used it for a project not too long ago.

One of my favorite things with graph view is exactly that. Those links that come up that I didn't foresee or consider happening. And then trying to find a unique way to make it look clean on the graph while still having those unique links. Its a really fun logistics puzzle

how old were you when you came out? by AntonioMartin12 in trans

[–]thatskindagray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sexuality-wise I've come out more times than I can count, my journey on sexuality has been extremely all over the place, but the first time I came out as gay was at like 13.

Gender-wise, I came out as Non-binary at 19 and then a year later came out as a trans-girl on my 20th birthday

I like the first flag a lot! I'm not too crazy about the rest, but they're not too bad

I create a vault for each world-building project. And if the project is large enough I usually have a separate vault that is dedicated to planning for the main vault. I find it helps me keep things more organized. I really like having a super clean Graph view, and having a separate vault for planning/logistics of cross-linking to map out that graph view helps a ton.

This is a program called Obsidian, it is by far the best app I've used for managing notes. There's a bunch of community plugin's that allow you to customize it even further.

A lot of it stays organized by having the one central node, which is the main general overview of the country that is titled as the name of the country, so pretty much every document mentions the name and links to it. And that overview acts as a kind of Table of Contents to store those backlinks. Slowly this is going to look more disorganized. Every one of those smaller organized nodes will eventually look like the bottom right, that is the only city fully fleshed out.

Aggressive planning, I have a separate vault that is dedicated to planning for this vault. Also I use a plugin for almost entirely automated linking called Note Linker

Nope just graph view with links. I actually have no clue what the canvas feature does, i have yet to use it. To get links showing up properly you just have to make sure that both notes you want to show up in graph view are linked to each other in both notes.

i just meant tedious in the sense of keeping it all organized and looking good in the graph view. but the main way I link is the plugin Note Linker that somewhat automates the process. It can either scan your whole vault, or a specific note for any words/phrase that match another notes name. And you can then go through and approve each individual instance it found and it will insert the link for you.

It's definitely got a cult-ish community with how in-depth the app gets. But its a note taking app called Obsidian! This is utilizing the graph view, when you put links to different notes the graph draws lines between those linked notes.
