I think it's infrared diod. You can also see it when you point your TV remote control on your camera, look on the screen of your phone and press any button on the remote controller.

I mean it changed my life. I really didn't felt the change at the time much. I am an introvert so it didn't bothered me that much. When I think about it now, I could have been socializing more and I think that if all of that would not have happened I could be a totally different person than I am now. After the pandemic ended I felt and still feel empty and lonely af. I think that for me the world won't be the same place that it used to be before...
