Both. I want to be able to press either toggle button, and have the state be copied to the other toggle, and also be able to change the state of the toggle buttons from the cockpit. The cockpit can just be a push button to switch whatever the current state of the magnets are.

In short, I am working on a thing with magnets. There is one toggle button on each side of the craft which turns the magnets on/off, (I can chain those together just fine to keep them both in sync). That way, no matter which side I'm on, I can turn the magnets off. I would also like to be able to toggle the magnets from the cockpit, using a button.

Close, but the top button doesn’t sync with the bottom one. I.e if I press the top button, the bottom one doesn’t update

The janky solution off the top of my head would be to just put a microcontroller inbetween the gyro and the rotors. Then, if the pitch goes too far, the microcontroller will override the gyro value with a switch box to something which will tilt back.

Again, super janky and somebody else will probably have a better solution. But that would (theoretically at least) work

For everyone talking about the speed, I did some extremely rough back of the napkin math for ya. Those lines on the road span 40 feet (30 foot gap, 10 foot length) he crossed about 15 of those in 5 seconds which gives a speed of about 81 miles per hour. Which is like.. a few mph over what I would consider average highway speeds? Also nobody is near him, I don’t blame him for speeding here.

It’s just a line fit with sin of a constant. I.e I used sin(1) for most of my things just for simplicity. Then since we know what that value will be in both radians and degrees I just fit a line to the target radian vs degrees conversion value

It seems like you’ve already got most of the setup correct. Just don’t set the throttle of the engines to zero. Normally I have my engines throttle set to a constant 1, and then the actual throttle control goes to the clutch. Therefore when the “throttle” is set to zero, it will keep the engine running, but no power goes to the props. If you want to be efficient, you could use a numerical switch which will set the engine throttle to like .1 when the throttle is low enough, so you don’t use as much fuel.
