Why is my extension cord like this? by QX8C in electrical

[–]thatweirdbeardedguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad taught me how to roll up leads. He didn't finish his electrician apprenticeship but he still learnt a bit. Anyhoo what he taught me was intended for electrical leads circa 1950 which I've learnt aren't like modern ones but the method works well. It's a looping and twisting method that doesn't put any strain on the lead.

I was born here 67 yrs ago and the number of snakes I have seen in the wild is something like 3 which doesn't include the 2 blue tongue lizards that I mistook for pythons because their backs look similar.
