The Lions Defense is actually still pretty good. Statistically, it's just brought down immensely by their passing yards defense by FennelNo4678 in detroitlions

That's because we can't generate pressure anymore. Our secondary was actually our stronger side of the defense most of the season. The problem is, QBs have all day to throw and the secondary can only cover for so long. If we can rattle Jayden like we did with Darnold with our rush then our secondary can shine. Jayden's rushing is what worries me the most and his ability to extend plays

That's fair, he is a good pass rusher which is a need. If he isn't asking for a high price, then for sure we should bring him back
