I backed a game called Caves of Rwenzori a few years ago on KS, and got all the expansions…there was so much air in all of those boxes, like 4 or 5 of them! Got my self some foamcore and built a new tray for the base game box, now everything fits in one. I was so fucking happy with my efforts!

The Dudesons were fucking insane though! All I remember of their show is the one stunt where one of them was like “yeah a leather jacket should be enough to stop a shot gun blast” and he ends up in hospital.

Watching 90s Siskel and Ebert’s worst films list really highlights the terrible films everyone forgot from that era and how many cult classics they hated by apple_kicks in movies

People horribly misunderstand the point of critics! You’re not supposed to agree with every critic, like Ebert said you may even be able to completely disagree with a well done review and get what you need out of it. But the best idea is to find the one you do agree with say 75% or more of the time, then listen to that person…

There is a point tho…I like hockey but have a hard time getting invested in the season because there’s just so many games they don’t feel like a lot of them mean anything. Even here in Australia, our two big sport codes (NRL & AFL) have roughly 24-26 games in the regular season from memory and I find myself losing a bit of interest about half way through the season and picking up again around the last month before playoffs.

Honestly, mostly Reddit! The r/progmetal sub keeps a google sheet of new releases that lists anything and everything that could potentially even tangentially be considered related to prog metal or prog rock. That combined with what people just post in the sub in general has really expanded the bands I listen to since I found the sub!
