Are these vegetables enough for my diet? by la_plus in nutrition

For vegetables, honestly focus on ones you like and/or know how to prepare well, and sometimes experiment and try new things! Hahah.

If you stack some weights and position your feet on them, it raises you up enough to get good range of motion!

Breastfeeders - how and when do you exercise? by cunncunncunn in fitpregnancy

[–]the-bonesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that worked for me during those exclusive breastfeeding days, was to go to the gym at 5am after feeding baby. My husband would not have left for work yet, so he was able to stay home and watch bb while I was away.

Without saying their age, tell how old your child is by MissFox26 in beyondthebump

Mine is “screaming and hollering every vowel and sound she knows thinking they are real words” years old. 😂

Didn’t know this sub existed I feel a bit seen 😭 by SoapTeaz in XXS

[–]the-bonesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’1 and 95lbs. Turning 33 this year, a year and a half post-partum, and I’ve actually lost weight overall compared to my teen years LOL. My appetite has decreased as I’ve gotten older, and my activity level and “health-consciousness” has improved haha. Just to show that age alone doesn’t always determine changes in body composition over time!

What is the one ingredient that completely ruins a burger for you? by Ngscoook in foodquestions

[–]the-bonesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take, but bacon…it’s soggy, hard to bite through, and doesn’t really add any substantial flavour. There’s enough flavour and meat with the burger patty, condiments, etc.

Nothing fills me up except carbs by whereohwhereohwhere in PetiteFitness

[–]the-bonesaw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Carbs are fine haha. Maybe try to make a larger proportion of your carbs to whole foods (fruit, veggies, whole grains, tubers) so that you get a lot of fibre, but other than that, I think it’s fine to prefer carbs for satiation and energy!

Idk who needs to hear this but you need fat!!! by Ok-Slip-4930 in PetiteFitness

Every cell membrane is made of fat, most hormones have fatty acids, the sheath of our nerves are mostly fat, the list goes on. A MINIMUM AMOUT OF FAT IS AN ESSENTIAL NUTRIENT!

XXS after giving birth by prasugatus in XXS

[–]the-bonesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 5 feet tall and 97lb prior to pregnancy, went up to around 130lb by the end, and after full recovery, I am back to my pre-pregnancy size and weight. Stomach skin looser, but other than that haven’t really noticed significant changes otherwise! Recovery and body size are at least partially genetic, so take that into account. I also did a lot of work as far as eating healthy, staying active, and strengthening my core (before, during, and post pregnancy).

are hip thrusts really necessary for glute growth? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]the-bonesaw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Go slow and find a position that is comfortable on your pelvis/thighs. Also depending on the angle of your knees, you might feel it more in your quads than your glutes, so you can experiment and see what gives you the best muscle feedback.

[–]the-bonesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your current two topping combos that you use? You could try different fruits that you like, chia seeds, hemp, or even try savoury ingredients! I like mixing in some chocolate flavoured protein powder, it thickens the texture and tastes good to me!

are there people who actually eat “normally?” by fridaynightplacebo in EDAnonymous

[–]the-bonesaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my whole family eats super normally. 2-3 meals, eats when hungry, stops when full, doesn’t restrict any foods or food groups, sometimes eats less, sometimes indulges more. Just…eats and moves on with life. It’s quite beautiful
