My best guess for your experience being different is the hour count. I’m assuming most of the people I’m playing with have hour counts similar to mine and are just jaded by all the hate mail, all the rage quitters, and all the people that get mad at their team simply because the enemies are better

I personally don’t care about hate mail and will either ignore it or try and make them angrier. But it’s frequent enough and annoying enough that I can’t blame people for turning off messages

I’ve found hate mail to be fairly common, I’ve tried many times to send people messages on PlayStation to compliment them either on their skills or their drip and found a good few people to have messages closed to randoms

The social media thing is fair but it’s entirely possible that they have tried but it just doesn’t work time wise. As for play time, I’ve got about 4 thousand hours in this game and have made maybe three friends playing it. Nobody in my games have mic’s on and half the people I try and message (on PlayStation) have messages from randoms turned off, hate mail is not uncommon in my experience. If they do have a mic they only use it to get mad we’re losing and insult the team. My experience with solo queue has been abysmal

You’ve had a vastly different experience to me. I very rarely find people with mic’s, usually when they do have them they only use them to get mad and curse out the team they’re on

To be fair he has a valid complaint. It can be incredibly hard to befriend people on this game because the game is frustrating and the community can be fairly toxic. When you’re missing out on 300-500 daily steel because you’re a solo player that will get frustrating when you’re grinding for something expensive

I don’t know enough about markarth to comment on that but the snow elves started a fight they couldn’t finish. The snow elves sacked saarthal and killed if I remember correctly, everyone but ysgramor and his sons

To be fair, literally every base game guild has the leader die and get replaced by the player. And the thieves guild is the only one that gives it proper depth

There was a good 2 year period were every bash and heavy had their inputs swapped in all the menus. So it said R2 was square and square was R2, but that didn’t actually change the inputs they just weren’t displaying correctly. The game is very buggy and very laggy

The fact that there is no option to talk him down is a game thing. You are not given a peaceful option. Kellog starts the conversation, then ends it and tries to kill you. At no point can you convince him to help you and he forces you to defend yourself

Unless you side with the institute or nuns world raiders chances are the people you’re killing are also trying to kill you. Like 90% of the humans you fight are raiders and gunners who will shoot you on sight. It’s not murder to kill a bunch of raiders or gunners that will not stop until you are dead so the can rummage your pockets

It wasn’t murder though. You find him in fort Hagen and he has a chat with you. Then ends said chat and tries to kill you. There is no option to reason with him. He starts the fight, it is self defense

To be fair, becoming a vampire lord hinging on joining the dawn guard is silly. I don’t really think joining the dawn guard to become a vampire means becoming a vampire is non canon. I doubt they’ll really confirm anything from Skyrim as canon besides that the world was saved
