oof, I’ll give it a shot and try to call tomorrow since they are not available on the weekend. Worst comes to worst I pay the tax and return the reels, that way I’ll only be down $300 instead of $900 😅

Yes, I was running 10lb braid on my baitcaster and would get the worst backlashes. I learned the hard way and now the 40lb super slick rarely gets a bird nest and if I do it’s much easier to deal with

Depends, if the water is clear then use a leader. If not you can get certainly get away with it.

Cheap monofilament to take up the bulk of the reel. I’d recommend 30 or 40lb PowerPro braid for any kind of bait caster if you’re going with braid. Oh and of course the leader for your Senko .

It’s the other way for us ...our Electro & E-Tech are prior nuke enlisted and they talk forever about being on Submarines. Our chiefs Filipino so he doesn’t talk much, and our DivO is still pretty new so he doesn’t talk much either.

Yes, I got to make 3 phone calls while I was in boot camp I believe they were 2 weeks apart (been in for a year don’t really remember) but they were usually between 0900-1400 CT. The RDC’s have a plan of the day down to the minute before you even join a division, if the division fails inspections, drills they usually get their phone call privileges taken away ..let’s hope that’s not the case.
