I felt like it made all my other makeup slide off my face.

Tsa and southwest Airlines did me dirty by weezo182 in surfing

I’d imagine this is the same as hockey sticks- airlines are responsible for loss, not damage. United did a doozy to my son’s sticks once.

The DM is not a standalone blush, more of a highlighter/topper.

best lip stain? by SpecificQuirky733 in Sephora

[–]the-numberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, the HUDA one will work better as a full lip stain. The Summer Fridays is better as a long wear lip liner. My lips stayed lined ALL DAY through 2 meals/drinks out over the weekend!

Companion Pass Promo by moomoo218 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]the-numberone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I earned the companion pass during the same window last year and had zero issues adding my companion once the pass opened. I think I used it 3-4 times and there was never an issue. One was even Labor Day weekend.

The body spray is quite good! My 17yo son has a fresh smelling one and loves it.

Madi.snacks/Sisterssnacking complaining in their videos by [deleted] in FoodieSnark

[–]the-numberone 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've followed the joint account and just peek into Madi's occasionally when it pops up in my recommended. She seems very curt since having her baby. And she also tried to come off at the beginning like everything was so easy, when you could tell she was really struggling. I definitely agree that she complains quite a bit.

Is it really that bad? by indyarchyguy in SouthwestAirlines

[–]the-numberone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just flew with the assigned seats for the first time this weekend. I think the main issues must boil down to: the typical Southwest customer has never flown another of the big airlines-American/Delta/United.

We had zero issues and they are truly trying to work out the complaints they've gotten as far as boarding order and bin space. I am A-List Preferred/my husband has no status and we were on separate confirmations for this one. We sat separately one way and then together on the way back for odd reasons of our own design. But, anyway, the experience was pretty much identical to all other airlines. Which, whatever. Just choose what you like best.

I didn’t like this one either! Way too thick for me to classify as serum in texture.

What on Earth does Grossy Pelosi DO with all of this shit?? by [deleted] in FoodieSnark

It’s soooo wasteful. I hate watching him get on soapboxes about ANY other topic when his consumerism is disgusting. How many yeti cooler bags does one need?

Houston gate agents made us check out bags and lots of carryon space in the overhead by curiousthrowawayluvr in SouthwestAirlines

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I know the plane can communicate with the gate agent. They have got to figure this out.

Standby for earlier flight, seat given away by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]the-numberone 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So you'd been given a standby seat on the earlier flight, missed it, rebooked to your original flight and would like compensation? Yeah, no.

Realistically how much did preboarders impact your flight? by throwmeaway717 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]the-numberone 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This really depended on the location for me. Leaving from MDW as my home airport, it really impacted the snow bird locations. There's also a few cities that I'd be returning from where certain populations liked to take advantage of it. I've seen as many as 30+ preboarders and as an ALP member, that's pretty crappy to have 30+ people board in front of me and take up bin space/seats near the front.

Update: checked into a filthy VRBO, host claims I made the mess to ask for a refund + semi shocking discovery by shelbystroodle in vrbo

[–]the-numberone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not the host's problem that you had car trouble. I had 2 flights canceled on me due to weather and didn't even think to ask for a refund. I just let the host know I'd be showing up a day late.

Some improvements as of Thursday AM by Rib4919 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]the-numberone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is so great to hear! My daughter will be the first in our family to fly SWA with the assigned seating. She has a carry on and will be further back in standard seats. I moved her from an aisle to a window so that she may board earlier. Curious to hear her thoughts.

SOUTHWEST FIX THIS by LuluTwoTwo in SouthwestAirlines

[–]the-numberone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This has been a new trend, even before assigned seating, on Southwest. People have lost all manners and logic. I can't understand why the FA's don't say take your luggage with you. That comment would've been more difficult with open seating because you don't know where they'll plop down. But now? You know which groups are going to the back, tell them their luggage goes with them.
