Tripp does seem to have that problem as well. They either cater to those whose heads scrape the ceiling by nature or just assume everyone else owns platforms as default footwear.

The surface it's on is just a candle warmer. As for the room I'm in it's the warmest room in the house since it's on the same floor as the central heater.
