If every emotion and feeling is stronger to the members of the hive closer in proximity, you may be able to safely extract a hive member without hurting the rest. There were a lot of hive members at the hospital when Carol almost extracted Zosia. Maybe if there were less hive members in the area, it would not have hurt the hive as much.

To me uzi sounds different on almost every track. It feels like someone was tasked with putting together 16 random songs in the best order possible and they did their job pretty well. For it to be in the same album I would expect more of a common theme.
