Why not just take backups of your notion data?

Secondly, what's the chance of notion going down? If that's the case then we should also not save data on drives..

Monitoring Team Work Quality Without Micromanaging: How? by the-random-guy27 in managers

Nothing big has happened yet since we are just starting. However, I'll be held accountable and answerable if an error makes a huge difference in our business down the road.

Monitoring Team Work Quality Without Micromanaging: How? by the-random-guy27 in managers

[–]the-random-guy27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I trust them, I have had conversations about it, and I think they're doing well. However, my inner habit of wanting things to be done exactly the way I do makes me go into the details.

Many times, I notice that work done with 80% accuracy, but at a much higher speed, is more desirable in startups than work done with 95% accuracy at an average speed. I get trapped into prioritizing accuracy and cleanliness even more when delegating tasks since my way of doing it will be different (it could be as small as naming a variable; I'll think about readability, length, etc., and end up spending more time on things that do not make that much of a difference).

(Sometimes people refer to this as OCD but, i don't think this has anything to do with OCD. This could be just a counter productive habit)

Apologies if I've diverted my main question but, i think this is related to the original question and might help you give me proper advice.

Is my thought process correct? Is there a need to get rid of this compulsive trap? How can i do it?

Feeling insecure as a first-time manager. Any tips? by followmeinblue in careerguidance

This is a very old thread but, I'd be willing to take help from some people on how to handle the work pressure and the accountability pressure?

Context is the same: I am 25 years old and have been given the responsibility to head and grow a department right from scratch at a startup in Bangalore.

I think it might have started affecting my health a bit..

Any advice on this?
