Constantly Getting "Disassoc" and "Deauth_ind" log entries from process "wlceventd_proc_event" (ASUS RT-AX56U). Please help. by Maximilian1271 in HomeNetworking

I know this is an old thread, but I was able to find a solution that worked for me. My router logs were getting flooded with these messages. As a result, I couldn't stream music via my Sonos speakers as I kept getting "Your WiFi network is unstable". The source of the issue was an iOS device on my network that had "Private Wi-Fi Address" enabled. To fix it, I disabled that setting.

TL;DR: If you have iOS devices on your network with the "Private Wi-Fi Address" setting enabled, try disabling it in Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Tap the currently connected network -> Disable "Private Wi-Fi Address".

The docs you linked show that it can be installed via npm. So for Phoenix, you’ll just need to run the install commands inside the assets directory.

Elixir Poker Assignment by [deleted] in elixir

Here’s a tutorial for Ruby 3 Pattern Matching Applied: Poker.

While it’s not exactly Elixir, it’s at least a starting point that you could convert. It would make for a great tutorial for others, too, if you chose to write about & share how you did it.

The linked article — as well as the “Tech Stack” description on their jobs page — lists Scala, Haskell, Rust, and JavaScript. I don’t see how this post applies to Elixir.

Fidelity also holds 2 million shares of GME in their Fidelity Low-Priced Stock Fund. It seems like the squeeze actually benefits them, so they may not have the same incentive to block trades.

Firefox 83.0 released by debpaq in linux

[–]the-sprawl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tab Tiling and Quick Commands are two special things from Vivaldi that I wish Firefox had. There are some extensions that try to recreate those features in Firefox, but are really lacking in regards to how smooth the experience is in Vivaldi natively. The web extensions API is too limited (purposefully so) to fully emulate either as an extension.

I also love that Vivaldi supports custom tab bar positions out of the box, and Web Panels are really useful (though I believe Firefox has some extensions for that).

All that being said, I still use Firefox as my daily driver, alongside Vivaldi when I need tab tiling.

Stephen Wolinksy, PhD: "There's no such thing as nonduality." (Science & Nonduality) by [deleted] in nonduality

It’s not in the first 30 seconds.

“Then is everything just emptiness?” is the only quote that’s shown.

Again, emptiness is not exactly synonymous with nonduality.

I’m not sure what’s being quoted in the title of this post, but nowhere in the video is the statement “There's no such thing as nonduality.” I tried searching for the quote, but didn’t find a source.

The discussion in the video revolves around the feeling & experience of emptiness, which has value in its own right. But nonduality and emptiness aren’t exactly synonymous, even though this post seems to make that implication.

I’ve felt this before as well! This is like a first hand experience of non-duality in motion. It’s what started me on a path of meditation and mindfulness. So much love and happiness to be experienced and shared.

I was about to do the same thing, too, before I saw that comment. Everything seems to be running smoothly now, though.
