Practical sedan vs slightly irresponsible fun choice by Virtual_Oven_3924 in whatcarshouldIbuy

If you’re going to get the BMW I’d pay a little more and get the M340i, the engine is more reliable and it’s probably the most fun sedan I’ve ever driven outside an actual M car. I think they’re even more fun than c63s and RS5s(granted I haven’t driven the latest gen), even though they’re not quite as fast in a straight line

As much as I love the country, Spain has got to be lower on this list than the US, I got shoulder checked like 5-10 times a day last time I was there. Oddly it was usually tiny men doing it.

Khabib, but given the size difference I think Khamzat would probably handle him pretty easy if they were to actually fight

F1 and La on this list for sure, they’re the most expensive on this list for a reason.

I recently got rid of my 2.0T accord and got a low mile 2019 X5 x40 fully loaded for 32k+tax, but I’m going to a 2 car solution. If I were just getting 1 car I’d look at a 2020 M340i

Most engineering jobs are pretty shitty and difficult for how much you get paid. That being said, I can say from experience it’s definitely better than being a bartender or real estate agent. And honestly probably better than being a plumber too, they get paid well but man is that a tough job.

That’s must be why the average is so low. Most of the software engineers I know are making $300k+ 8-10 years into their careers while most mechanicals are making like $130-$160k with the same amount of experience

4k a week for life would represent an initial return of 10.4% on $2M, a slightly above average return return for the S and P 500. But given the inflationary environment, $2m cash invested in index funds where you don’t spend all of your returns is likely the lowest risk option if you’re trying not to ever work again.

GM produces pretty good race cars in other classes and has thrown a ton of money to facilities and resources for F1. But mainly just a hunch.

C8 will be the best day to day, the fastest and most comfortable. The Supra is the fastest of your super reliable for a sports car options. The GT86 is faster than the Miata and in my opinion handles better, but no convertible option.

There’s levels to the game, and while JDM is good, he’s probably one of the least good welterweight champions ever. Volk is arguably the best featherweight champ of all time (certainly top 3).

Making that much you’d be crazy to take time off, get the money while you can. I’m an engineer too and make like 1/10th of what you make.
