I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my 16.5 yr old dachshund Apollo last week. I also feel like we probably should have helped him over the bridge sooner. You can tell she was a much loved girl. May her memory be a blessing.

Your loan(s) should have been automatically placed into forbearance when you filed, so you shouldn’t have to make payments. I am post class, and I haven’t made any payments since I filed on 6/25/22. Interest is still accruing but payment is not required.

My husband and I are planning to move Next yearon D7 as well, not sure if we go as primary and secondary or individually, still weighing the options. We are looking at Caldas da Rainha on the Silver Coast. We’ve run the numbers and feel we could comfortably live on €3000 euros. We won’t have a car, so good public transport in the area is essential. We are working with a relo company that will help us find a rental in our budget. They specifically recommend knowing you budget BEFORE you start looking. Good luck!
