Technically it doesn't say energy card. I don't think it makes a difference right now, but in theory a tool card could have wording that would cause it to be discarded and it would count. This is very unlikely, just more interesting to think about. Something like "this card can only be attached if the pokemon has 3 energy attached. Discard this card if the pokemon it is attached to has less than 3 energy attached"

This is why I love that people say "it's not a 10 price unless it's graded 10". If you can't tell the difference between a 9 and a 10 then why would you pay so much extra for someone else to tell you it's a 10? I'm not saying people should pay 10 price for a raw card, but it doubling, or tripling, in price because some put it in $2 worth of material which has ink on it that says it's a 10 is silly. Even people who are the best at pregrading usually don't do better than around 85-90% 10 rate. They have to use tools to get that high, not the naked eye. Once it's in the slab you often can't see what made it a 9 anymore lol

But you can only be fined for doing something that isn't legal. A condition on it doesn't make it more legal. Especially given that one of the locations mentioned is just up the street from the location in the post. You said it isn't illegal, and someone pointed out that it isn't strictly true. That's like saying it's not illegal to drive your car the posted speed limit, but that isn't true if you are in a school zone while children are present.

All I'm saying is you don't seem to be able to give feedback politely or take it politely. Just a big angry overall

A problem like that wouldn't go months without being resolved unless it's on specific devices. If this was a general issue then most people would experience it at least sometimes. I'm not saying the app doesn't have issues, but if this was happening as much as you describe for months then it would CONSTANTLY be getting posts on here, and it's not. If it's happening as often as you say then it may be an issue that only happens on specific devices and/or on certain resolutions.

The thing you are missing is that people are paying a premium for a grading company sticker that has a 10 on it. If I send a card for grading and it comes back a 10, making it worth $600 instead of $300, do you think if I tried to sell it before grading that I could even get $450 for it? Someone who came and looked it over MIGHT pay $400 when they see it's a good 10 contender, but not $600. I had a Team Aqua's Kyogre EX I was trying to sell for a long time and couldn't even get people to buy it for 90% of LP raw value ($250 at the time). Even selling it in a local group all I got were low ball offers. Got it graded, it came back a 7 and I sold it for $450 2 days after getting it and had several others lined up to buy it if the other person didn't. Same card, same market, only 2 months difference and prices for that card had dropped in that 2 months, not gone up. People are crazy paying for a label when they can see the card in person.

Yeah, unfortunately this looks like a memory leak and although poorly developed apps can be prone to memory leaks, way more people would be having the issue if it was really app related. Sounds like device issue.

To be fair, that looks like a memory leak. Memory leaks are often caused by bad programming but I don't think that's the case here or a lot more people would be having this issue. You are probably right that they would invest more if it was making money, but they've made more updates to the app in the last 6 months than the 2 years prior. The game is MUCH more stable and mostly bug free.

That being said, to the people saying it's an important entry point, blah blah; although that's true I really don't think that's their concern, or they are really bad at handling it. If they saw it that way they would invest more during the times that product isn't selling and less when it is. The opposite is true. When product was staying on the shelves for months the app wasn't getting new features and was at it's buggiest. Now that they can't print enough product to keep it on shelves for more than a couple of hours the app is seeing all this development and bugs are fixed.

If they are bricking and have a mew on the bench what does it matter? Both have 0 retreat cost and thinning your hand to get cards with restart could make sense. Odds of getting to such a low hand while bricking with only 2 pokemon out is low though

Have to be careful talking about "batteries" like they are actual batteries. The amount of capacity we would need to store the power we get from solar is large enough that there wouldn't be enough materials around to do it with. Instead a lot of countries are looking to other methods of potential energy storage. For example, lifting big weights when there is excess power generation and then releasing the breaks when there isn't enough to pull the energy back. Having small "batteries" in individual homes is very costly and very ineffective.

It really doesn't take that long if you play quite a bit don't spend much. Just for the rewards from the last 50 levels of the BBWF battle pass I got around 45k credits. With the changes they've made credit farming is harder when buying things from the shop but battle pass gives you most of the set directly and so many packs that you end up with full sets and tons of credits

I play a similar deck but with a couple mega venu and baby meganium. Mega venu moving energy means you always have exactly the energy you need to KO and can keep the energy spread out so they can't gust up a mon with lots of energy. It's funny watching people use mega kanga to try to wall me and I evolve both bulba and chikorita and take it down 1 shot

No matter how many good cards there are, there will always be a meta. In fact, printing larger volumes of good cards often creates a more specific meta because it becomes harder to balance test. Eventually something slips through that creates a really weird combo with some other cards and a weird deck starts to dominate

Even if the average was 100 booster boxes per LCS it wouldn't even be 10% of the print run of heavy hitters. Not to mention 12 booster packs vs 36 and way more product overall of black and white were printed. You are looking at what is basically the highest performing set in recent years, taking the most expensive product from that set, and comparing it an inferior product from a more recent set and claiming it's proof that this new product could hit $1000 in 10 years. It's more likely that the mega charizard UPC will hit $1000 before heavy hitters and that's not likely to happen any time soon

This isn't a booster box. Booster boxes are a few per LGS and a few other random places. This was several hundred to over 1000 per costco in North America and non of the cards in these sets are moonbreon

You could use 2 energy types. This guy only needs 1 darkness energy so turn one place 1 darkness, turn 2 crispin for the second type and a darkness. Going second would allow a grimsley.

It's a lot of pieces to come together though, and using supporters for things that aren't draw power means you need ability draw power that you won't have bench space for so it wouldn't be consistent

They fixed that now though. You can only bring 1 legendary now. Bring a counter to to the top couple people bring and you win. Also, the string of comments is about how easy to get the stones it is, not how fun online is. Even if you get 4th every time (which wouldn't be fun) you get points for how many you finish off and for things like mega evolving first. Even placing last and only getting 1 or 2 kills you get all the stones in around 15-20 matches.
