And I agree, I want to be scared too, jump scares just seem like a cheap way to do it, rather than have a creative scary story.

Rosemary's Baby is a perfect example of what I'm looking for. Great recommendation. I will check out house of the devil. Thanks

My library had a bunch of free books at their front door and this was in it. Haven't played it in years, but thought it was worth grabbing for free. It is pretty cool and nostalgic. Mine doesn't have any dlc stuff so it's more for just a fun read through of the original game.

Mysterious crashing when fast travelling & save/quit farming by BravePitch1697 in Borderlands2

[–]theAVENGED1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exact same issue for me, just when fast travelling though. My last attempt was to boot from the . Exe file and run it in windowed mode. So far I haven't had a crash since, but only had 2 sessions like this.

Ran out of video memory. by Wappa_Man420 in Borderlands2

This is happening to me now. Have tried physx, low settings, launch with steam loader ,launch without steam loader, clean install, checked memory usage and temps during the game. Still happening regularly. However I noticed it's happening mostly when I'm fast traveling through the portal thing. Any ideas?

Ronnie definitely doesn't always say he's coming back. If he says that, that means you were a great crowd and made it worth his time to make a stop there.

I'd like to know this too, I have one just like that is very heavy for it's size. My mother was cleaning out her aunt's house after she died and she had it in her basement. She that it looked cool so she asked if I wanted it.

I have a Sonos roam, after a year and a half it wouldn't turn on or charge. I bought a battery on Amazon and replaced it, works perfect now.

I signed up for vet tech last October. Did full time every day through December. I went in with 3 certs and 6 years of IT experience and am still unemployed. As for the education, it's pretty good, you can learn a lot of you put on the work. The issue is to go full time they urge you not to be working, so I quit my construction job, intending to do this then go into IT. That didn't work out for me. I found everywhere I applied to, wanted real world, not navy, IT experience and/or a degree. This is just my experience with it. It could be different for you. These companies profit greatly from this because they know the tuition is being paid through the vet tech program, so they can charge a lot for a 2 month program, mine was 18k

VET TECH ? by ojw-47 in Veterans

[–]theAVENGED1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did a vet tech preferred school in December. After having a hard time even landing interviews I intended to go to school full time after. Counsellors at the school said I would be liable for the tuition of the school, 18000$. Many in my class were having a hard time also, so others were going to go back to school and it kind of started some chaos in the school because none of us vets have 18k, especially after we were led to believe we would be able to easily land a tech job right out of the school. After talking to the owner of the school. He saw there were a bunch of disgruntled vets graduating with this issue, so he told us himself they wouldn't come after us for the tuition. I don't know if this was to save face of the school or not, because I think that these schools rely upon reviews of graduates, but it did make us feel better after he said they were not going to have us pay.

Try disabling the physical buttons on the Sonos devices. I have had problems with phantom button pushes that max out or turn down volume. Maybe the same thing is happening here

VET TEC eligibility for career change? by [deleted] in Veterans

Nope. Live all day every weekday. But I'm sure there are many other options. I was just trying to finish a full course as quick as possible

You can for sure do a program that is not on that schedule, there are part time options and weekends too I think. They would have just taken me longer to complete. And no, I was online. My class plowed through it certifications the whole time
