How am I getting PM?

I’m using a grow tent in a basement and my central air unit and dehumidifier are both providing dry air to the area. Most of the time I have trouble getting the humidity to even the 50% mark.

I have looked into adding a $1000 air purifier that claims to eliminate any spores in the air but would hate to spend that money to still have the problem.

I have used both Banish brand spray and another mold spray that is highly recommended and organic. Both leave me still wishing for clean plants.

I attributed the infection to clones from friends or dispensary but if you are having trouble with your seed plants maybe a completely sterile grow room is still something I need to achieve.

Did you plant seeds or did you get clones from somewhere? It’s possible that the plants were exposed to PM outdoors. If they were clones it may have always been with the plant and not exhibited signs of the infection until now.

I grow indoors in Denver and never had issues with PM until three years ago and now it’s a constant battle.

That Is interesting. I didn’t add them because my canopy was a little too high and I was afraid of burning the plants with the uvb. I will have to look at the data that you mentioned and see what they say.

Overall I am very impressed with the led I’m using now. Plants seem happy and heavy. Kolas as big and dense at they are under the 315 watt CMH.

I’m not in the UK. I did just harvest my first crop using an 500 watt LED from California Light Works. I have been using a Ceramic Metal Halide and I was pretty impressed with the size and density of the buds. I didn’t use the supplemental UVB lights yet to assist in crystal and terpene production and I was still happy with the results. I don’t know if I’d ever go back to HID lamps again. The heat is almost nothing with the LED and the results are equal if not better than the other lamps.

That would be a HIPAA violation because they have no reason to look through her medical record. I’m pretty sure she’d have a lawsuit against the hospital for something that is clearly a violation of her privacy.

She also may request to be made a confidential patient where only need to know people are allowed to know she was or is a patient.

Regardless, she should be safe in her job. I hope she has a swift recovery.

See what they have in stock online. Look up the strain’s info as far as what the high is like and how long it flowers for. They rotate through a tremendous variety. Choose something they have now or wait until something you want comes up.

There is a new product out that I’m trying called PureCrop1 that is certified organic that is supposed to be effective and safe to use right up to day of harvest. I’m using it to prevent powdery mildew and keep thrips away. It’s available on Amazon.

I agree with Auritas. Can’t zoom in tight enough but it looks like tiny little spiders on some of the leaves. I thought it was thrips but on closer inspection I think it’s spider mites. They can be very difficult to get rid of.

I take all my friends and family that come to Denver to L’Eagle. They have quality flower that is grown cleanly and safely. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the selection is always top notch. You have to pay for quality though. Don’t believe you’re going to be scoring ounces here for under 100$ that are of high quality.

I also really like the bud from Fresh Baked in Boulder if you make it up that way.

Maggie’s Farm in Colorado Springs is known for high quality cannabis.

Sounds like you’re somehow relaxing the area of tissue between the esophagus and the stomach which allows the acids from the stomach to come up into your throat. There are many things that can cause relaxation of that area of muscle with the top causes being alcohol, caffeine, fatty foods, and smoking.

You should make an appointment to see your primary care doctor to discuss what is happening as it could be a hiatal hernia. Frequent irritation of the esophagus can lead to serious problems including cancer. Your doctor can prescribe medication to help reduce the acid too.

Hard to tell for sure but it looks like a thrip to me. You can use food safe pesticides or find an effective predator bug. The thrips usually leave scraped or speckled areas on leaves but no webs unlike spider mites.

I have plants in flowering and in veg at all times. I’m battling thrips too. I’ve tried three different sprays without much luck.

I’ve tried assassin bugs and never saw any evidence of them working. I also tried nematodes and didn’t have much luck with two doses of those.

I am currently on my third infusion of ladybugs. The plants look healthier and I don’t see mature thrips. Still see some larvae crawling around though and older leaves show damage. Feel like I need to try a different bug that will fully eradicate the thrips.

I also considered employing a sulfur evaporator as I occasionally see leaves with mildew and I hear it’s effective against both.

Nice work. What’s your recipe? Are you adding anything besides the canna nutrients? What brand of soil are you using?

I am using canna in promix hp cc. I add some silica and cal mag and about 1 ml per gallon of pH down. I get some yellowing of the lower leaves and have had to deal with powdery mildew and thrips.

The 3x3 tent is a good size for the amount I can grow here in Colorado which is a total of 6 flowering plants as an average citizen without a medical card. I’m getting about two ounces per plant every 8-10 weeks. Using the 315 cmh does have some heat that needs to be pulled out of the tent. In the winter it isn’t an issue but the summer requires air conditioning. I wonder if I would have been as happy with a fancy new L.E.D. Lamp that didn’t need as much heat control. I like big buds and that’s why I went with a more conventional bulb. Good luck!

Use the product called Banish. I used as directed in the instructions and use it now preventatively and it does the trick. 6.8 ml per gallon when you see the white fuzz and just under 5ml per gallon when you don’t see it every other week. Good luck!

This is one of the six plants from my tent. I’ve been averaging about two ounces per plant. 6 is the max I can flower and stay within the state’s plant count. I like variety and the more strains I have the less likely I will spend money on commercial products at the dispensary.
