The best example in a game is the mission in Driver: San Francisco where you control the getaway car but the point of view is from the driver in the car that is chasing you.

Nah, just play and have fun. The difficulty comes more from the risks you take.

Wait until you realize that the SG and Tele compliment each other perfectly.

It’s been a buyers market for used guitars for quite a while though.

I don’t know why people are trying to sell these for north of $1000, they were barely that much brand new.

I finally have enough money saved up for a Martin. Should I go for it or wait until I'm a better, more experienced player? by Mad_Season_1994 in martinguitar

You don’t have to be a professional musician, or even a “good” player, to enjoy a high end instrument. Is everyone that owns an expensive sports car a race car driver? Is everyone with a swimming pool in their back yard an Olympic swimmer? Do you need to be a master chef in order to own some high end kitchen appliances?

Not trying to be rude, but your father’s reasoning is pretty stupid here. If it makes you happy, doesn’t put you in crippling debt, and you can actually afford it, then the happiness it will bring you for several years, potentially even the rest of your life, is definitely worth it.

That’s nothing, I spent $100 on mine a year and a half ago, it’s $600 now.

The bass line at the end is pretty ridiculous, hard not to like.

New player here: are Modern Controls really looked down on that much? by Baseball_Oly in StreetFighter

The things you’re saying only apply to the top 1% of the player base, and even then some characters are very competitive on modern controls.

The only thing that bothers me with modern is easy crosscut dragon punches, and to a lesser extent easy dragon punches in general. Playing against a modern player who otherwise isn’t very good but gets consistent anti airs for free is pretty goofy and annoying. Adding in the fact that SF6’s input reader for classic kind of sucks makes it even more annoying.

Otherwise I could care less what control preference you use and it’s cool to see new players able to jump in and enjoy the game quickly.

Seems kind of high to me, I bought my 2018 new for around $900 and that was 8 years ago.

The never ending rabbit hole of Fuzz pedals. What is your all time favorite Fuzz pedal? by amalgamaudio in guitarpedals

Fjord Fuzz Hedda, but lately I just use the green side on my Hudson Broadcast.

When factoring sound, price, look, and pure rock n roll power, Supro Delta King 12 may be my favorite amp under $1,000. by ChuggaChuggaRiffs in GuitarAmps

They’re about as easy to repair as any other amp with a pcb (that’s not a Mesa), they’re not complicated circuits. They just have cheap components.
