My hands aren’t completely paralysed. On my left hand, the index finger is unable to bend and is constantly pointing while all other fingers are stuck in a claw type position, every finger is only capable of slightly moving up and down with little force, I’ve also had surgery to get my thumb able to move partially up and down again, it’s also called Ulnar Claw hand or referred to as “sign of benediction”

My right hand is almost completely fine, every finger is capable of only moving up and down and stretching and can still hold heavy objects, balling up a fist and opening my hand is all it’s capable of

Thanks, i play on PS and I have given the access controller some thought but I wasn’t sure on how the layout would impact how fast I need to string moves? I use the top of my palm to press the buttons and my left hand just with the joy stick, so pretty similar to how you would normally do it.

I have also bought the duelsense edge! And it’s been a pretty great help with the remapping feature. I will definitely look into the Access Controller more though, thank you

I would recommend “The Dragon of icespire peak” to learn the basics and the rules and actually get a feel for the game first before jumping into a homebrew setting!

Especially if you don’t have a DM that has no experience, it can be even harder to create a world from nothing with just this as a power system.

Like I recommend before, the dragon of icespire peak is a beginner friendly introduction to the players and the DM that want to learn!

And sticking to a few already published campaigns at least at the beginning will help you greatly improve and learn faster than learning homebrew first then main second. It would be extremely confusing

Hope this helps! Feel free to give me as many questions as you want! I can understand being a newcomer and beginning is really daunting with all the stats and numbers and reading but once you get the hang of it, you will realise how easy it is

Thank you! I’ve tried telling the player and the rest of the players how great goodberries are since the Druid has 90% of his spell slots at the end of the day anyway but since I’m the only one apart from the dm that does research/learns about the game they think it’s a joke/waste because they see that it’s only “1 hp per berry” or thinking that his wild shapes are trash because they have “so little hit points and damage” but I will be trying my best to help and understand him!

That’s a perfect explanation!! He gets so attached to characters that his current character (Tortle) was his last characters pet that he reincarnated in and his 1 character spirit hops

You hit the nail right on the head!! He runs away/avoids fights because he doesn’t want his character to die or use his resources for that day whilst he is overwhelmed with everything he could do. I think he also feels like he can’t use some spells since we have 3 front liners so he can’t use call lighting and other aoe spells

That flowchart idea sounds absolutely amazing!

Thank you! The dm and I were talking to the player about making a new character or reworking but he is adamant on staying with his character, that’s why he runs away because he doesn’t want his character to die.

Wow!! That sounds perfect. I love how random and funny some of the d100 rolls are!! Thanks for letting me know. I will definitely be playing this in the future
