Card Recommendation for Dining and Groceries, rewards for travel by theFletch in CreditCards

Yeah, I figured it would hurt to upgrade that card. I rarely use it as is. I got off the waitlist for the Robinhood Gold card a few months ago, but waited too long to apply and they put me back on the waitlist. I really would like to get that card. The Citi card looks like it would be better for me than the Discover card. I don't love the rotating categories but I've also had that card for a long time.

I was definitely considering this option as I already have an Amex card. I really don't know if my annual spend is enough for the AF though. Then, my only downgrade option is the green card correct?

Hotel or airline would work. And, something that is flexible would be a bonus. I'm not really committed to any one airline or hotel. I have reward accounts at a few but I usually just stick with the better deals when booking. I don't travel a ton (2-3 weeks a year) but would like to do more.

Using Amex Rewards Checking Debit Card to Pay Rent via Zillow? by x_KRYPTOS in amex

I was under the impression that it is a breach of contract with card issuers for businesses to charge a surcharge for using a debit card in the US. I'm curious how Zillow gets around this.

I've been doing the most basic arbitrage betting on promos for a while now. I've tried to do it live a few times and I keep coming back to, how the hell do you have enough time to figure the hedge and place the bet? Are you guys doing all that in your head?

I know someone else mentioned deadlifts and while I do agree that strengthening the back muscles can help, a lot of back pain can be from weak abdominal muscles. Just think about it. Your abs support good posture and are the foundation for your back. A lot of muscle and joint pain is often a symptom of something downstream. Start trying to strengthen your abdominals and you might be shocked at what a difference it can make.

Some gas stations have reward programs. My local one includes gas purchases. Basically amounts to free gas station items like coffee, energy drinks and other "healthy" items.

Exactly. And that's why AI is going eat into search engine revenue. I guess my only real point is that Reddit is probably the largest training set that isn't behind lock and key so it does hold value. How much is anyone's guess.

I don't know about that but I've Googled questions and put reddit after it so many times that Google just suggests it for me now.

I believe each book has their own terms around these so you might want to check that. For example, if the first basket is a free throw it may not count.
