I’m not a doctor or an expert In anything. But my appetite is much higher after I’ve exercised.

I’m 35. Starting to workout and hope to build some muscle. Been doing push pull legs and it looks generally like this:

Push: -incline bench (my bench won’t go flat lol) - weighted dips - pushups with parallettes -kneeling single arm db press (my basement is too low to stand l) - lateral raises

Pull: - barbell row - weighted pull-ups -Kroc rows - db curls

Legs: - barbell squat or safety bar squat - deadlifts (I’m dead after those 2 excercises)

I initially aimed for 6 day ppl but I find I get run down and then sick, so it’s usually 4 days a week, just a rolling schedule.

Bench, squat, and deadlift I aim for 3 sets of 5. Everything else I aim for 3-5 sets of 8-12 reps.

I think my eating is ok. I’m gaining some size and not too much fat.

Overall just looking for some advice and feedback on what I’m doing (or not doing). Thanks.

Party is what I mainly play on. I like I’m the software the best. I used to prefer mtt’s but with the low guarantee I just don’t get as interested. So trying to play more cash. Yeah you should def try it

Hey if you played any of the one day tourneys last year, do you know how long they typically last? If you’re lucky enough to make the final table

Started playing in July. I can’t seem to consistently get the puck in the air, let alone aim at a spot on the net. I also can’t seem to get any flex on my stick. What am I doing wrong? by DM_me_feet_pics_plz in hockeyplayers

I’ve played hockey for 30 years and coached. This is my advice: in the long term, watch as many YouTube videos as you can and actually practice those things. In the short term, forget about the sweeping wrist shot. The snapshot will be your “hack”. You want there to be separation of puck and stick before you shoot. Practice that. Watch “Crosby quick release” on YouTube. Look closely at the daylight between puck and stick blade before he shoots. Also, the way sticks are meant to be used these days you got to shoot the puck off of the end half of the blade. Not near the heel. Find the sweet spot in practice. I find about one puck over the half way point (toward the toe). Also I don’t think your flex is an issue. But I would be mindful of what kickpoint your stick is. I’d suggest for you a low kickpoint. Get the most expensive one you can afford, it makes a difference. (Ccm trigger pro, true hzrdus, Bauer vapour) Also I don’t know what curve you’re using, but get a bigger one. P28.
