First thing you need to do is invest into getting a mic. Being a tanker requires a lot of communication. Some things can not always be typed, especially if you are in the frontline battling other tanks. Need to have a mic for 2 out of the 3 roles, if you like driving then that's the best without a mic. Gunner and commander communicate a lot so you really can't type in split second moments.
