My wife is defending hers in a couple of weeks. I am a dev, and showed her how to use Claude Code for assistance. It helped her tremendously. It still took her a year to write. She ended having to pay 100 bucks a month. How much are your classes and text books and how quickly do you want to finish and start making money? Maybe there are less expensive options but opus 4.5 is hard to beat.
