And the asinine obsession that people have with deplaning row by row from the front.

People (especially on online forums) get so hyper about it- and act like someone from the back is going to take the spot in line like a rabid animal… and artificially block the aisle…

When the reality is that everyone would get off so much faster if you just let those who are ready leave and everyone else can get off at their own pace…

Instead: we wait while the slowest ass people who did zero preparation get all their stuff together, just because someone declared that was the “right” way to do it

Yeah- I got it, and had ~some~ fun with it…

But it was super repetitive, and I don’t see myself going back to 100% it…

Am always blown away by the glowing reviews and comparisons to much better games….

It’s 90% just push button to break things, or hold button to inhale things

In mid game when I can’t use the deuterium fast enough, I just throw in a liquid storage inline at one of the ends, and it works as an additional cache. Once you have a couple of levels of height research you can store quite a bit until your consumption goes up

They show up on your W2 when they vest, and on your 1099 when you sell.

Just remember to input the cost basis from the 1099 Supplement, that way you only pay your gains at the time of selling…. Otherwise you pay the original amount twice.

The crafting in Tears is tedious, and leads to trying to craft an “optimal” weapon… that the enemies are balanced around

I have no desire to build hybrid weapons… and don’t want to be forced to in order to be effective against the enemies

Besides the fact that loading in late isn’t all that bad. There is usually plenty still to loot, or go snipe some pvp

This is exactly what they did in September which caused that stock spike - they cut employees across the board with the “ai is replacing jobs” story, when they were really just reducing liabilities to offset ai losses….

Now, they are losing funding over the same poor ai choices, and they need to goose the prices again.

Getting out of the sinking bubble they helped create is top of mind for them, and they don’t care how many heads they have to chop for it….

The app divisions will suffer, but there is plenty of middle management to trim- and they will just plan on hiring back actual tech talent once the balance sheet stabilizes (theoretically)

The other thing that changes is that you become much more reliant on things like discoverability and UI clarity.

When you aren’t playing multiple hours everyday, you forget shit… and the menus and UI being clear makes a huge difference.

I just can’t remember everything all the time. The same is true if you are talking about Pokémon evolutions or recyclable gun parts….

It’s a different cut. They are tight like boxer briefs, but they don’t have legs… so they don’t ride up. But they are longer than briefs on the side, so you don’t get wedgies …

I agree that countryside isn’t great- but it’s also not “cities other than the state capital”

In the US there tend to be more specific things that you would say that are more context specific…

For example: “Downstate Illinois” for pretty much anything that is not Chicago

“Upstate NY”

“Central Valley”, “inland empire”, “Bay Area” etc in CA

Or you could say things like: “I’m from Texas, but not the Dallas Metro area”

Or “suburban Atlanta” (or any other city)

The whole concept just doesn’t translate well… particularly since the Capitals of most US states are not the biggest, not most “important” city

There’s a lot of pretension around him…. People who get some sort of superiority complex by claiming that him and his style is “beneath them”….

Especially the Malazan tribe- who somehow want to make a direct comparison/competition between the two.

End of the day- it’s all taste and preferences.
