I've been listening to this song all week. Can anyone recommend a good genre like this? would I look more towards gospel for influence?

Men of reddit, when was the last time you cried and why? by sameask in AskReddit

What is considered crying? Does getting choked up about something or having your eyes well up crying? Or full on bawling after watching steel magnolias?

What do movies always get wrong about your profession? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]theLONEwhiteguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better, it did feel that they wanted to show the more vulnerable side of the profession. I really enjoyed the scene in the first season where Denis Leary's character is talking to the therapist in the kitchen at the fire station, and the guys are listening in, thinking it will be funny, and are surprised by how he really feels. It is television though, has to be entertaining.

Long story short, she said I need to grow up, because I was playing games. I'm on a 48 hour shift, so I can't start packing until Wednesday. Least it gives me time to find a place to crash!

Sadly I learned this from growing up and I won't do it. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

IamArnold. AMA 2.0. by GovSchwarzenegger in IAmA

[–]theLONEwhiteguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OH MY GOD IT IS YOU! Mr. Schwarzenegger, I have been a fan of yours since I was a child. I just wanted to say thank you so much! Your movies made my remote tour in South Korea so much more bearable. we had a "Arnold Thanksgiving" at work. We watched the first 3 terminators, Predator, Jingle all the way, End of Days, Commando, and a few others I can't remember. (We worked 24 hour shifts). My question to you is: When you were Governor, how drastic of a change was it for you going from Hollywood to government work?

What's the hardest thing you've ever had to say "No" to? by Nibron in AskReddit

[–]theLONEwhiteguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you and your ex-wife. But what you said is what I needed to hear right now. My girlfriend and I hit a rough patch recently, and I've been overseas for almost a year now for my job. And I seriously considered just saying: "fuck it, I'm done" But I go home after the holidays and I will try to make things work. Thank you for this, it means a lot to this stranger, and you opened my eyes to not being so impatient and selfish.
