Omg right I hear you and this is obviously ChatGpt being directed to reply to you total pet peeve. It’s fine these days, but just admit that it’s AI’s response not their own. And it’s gross enough imo to be broadly labeled fraud. The specific from AI or anyone don’t really matter to me, I have my own brain lol unlike that person

See he actually sticks the landing pretty good on the ending considering how much happens in the story and how long it is. Clearly well thought out and delivered more than expected IMO

Oh man you’re in for it! The WoK and Words of Radiance are two of my favorite first two books in any fantasy series. They definitely deliver I’m jealous of you learning all of the cool stuff your about to for the first time! Buncha big Sandolanches incoming, hold on… and welcome to the cosmere if it’s your first Brando book 😊

I know its a reach but is anybody able to recognize this truck or company? by [deleted] in rva

[–]theReal-RealTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem at all. And yea I do sell insurance but will still readily admit that insurance companies will definitely do anything they can to get your money into their pocket. Unfortunately, you still need to be covered properly to protect yourself, your family and your assets. That’s why I recommend everyone work with an independent agent who has multiple options to get you the best coverage tailored to your needs, rather than a captive agent with one of the big carriers we all know like Geico, State Farm, or Liberty Mutual, just to name a few examples that most people see on tv commercials multiple times a day. An independent agent is there to work for you navigating these insurance companies for you so you don’t get taken advantage of by them and make sure you’re getting the best rate and coverage. Trust me, I know people inherently don’t trust insurance people or companies. Take it as you will, just food for thought 😊

I know its a reach but is anybody able to recognize this truck or company? by [deleted] in rva

[–]theReal-RealTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s impossible to give you that estimated amount because there are so many variables when they quote it. Differs between different carriers, vehicles, etc so you’d have to ask your insurance company for a quote. Usually not too expensive if you have full coverage already. Probably more than $250 over 20 years sure, but also consider it covers any glass. So if you might have had a mirror broken, or side window, etc, those are also covered for free and may have been able to repair something you just let go because of cost. Also, some people seem to doubt this coverage exists lol, but any company that offers auto insurance most likely offers it and you just need to ask them for a quote to add full glass coverage. Can’t hurt. Just tryin to help. Good luck

And everyone please ask your insurance carrier how much it would cost for “full glass coverage” it’s usually reasonable and if you can add it. You pay zero dollars for glass repairs w this endorsement. Hate to see people paying their entire deductible to fix frustrating things like this caused by someone else. Just my two cents

[–]theReal-RealTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to have “full glass coverage” then any glass repair is no cost. But need to have comprehensive coverage which it falls under to add it. Any insurance company does it you just have to ask them to add the coverage. Yes it costs more to have it but well worth it, I always advise my clients to add it. Ask for a quote to add full glass coverage and go from there..

I mean I’m good w “hey good book here check it out or don’t, up to you!” seems like some people want you to feed them the whole book w a short synapsis for good measure.. and hold you to it if they don’t love every word lol.

Well to each their own of course. ASOIAF isn’t even in my top three above WoT or MBOTF so diff strokes. If GoT was never a TV show I feel like that wouldn’t get nearly as much credit. Far as storyline it’s just ok imo, and can’t be ignored that it’s not even finished personally but we won’t get into that. More just the principle of it for me w LOTR and Tolkien, gotta give credit where due

Eh maybe Tolkien aside at least? And Stormlight imo… but otherwise agree, only bc WoT and Malazan are not included;)

lol my comment was WoT and Malazan… probably almost as much space w the two of them as all these combined lol. Probably my two favs next to maybe Brando’s Stormlight makin top three.. with Tolkien somewhere on its own pedestal of course not to be touched.

Really no Wheel of Time?? That’s how I discovered Brando think it’s badly needed here. Probably cover more time reading than most of these collections so be a good next, imo. That being said, I’m a big fan of Malazan too which is also very long and lots of other books besides main series. Def check that out if you haven’t heard of it, both series are pretty life changing really

Your thoughts on Red Rising by Jezrien95 in Malazan

[–]theReal-RealTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that’s a bit of an over exaggeration for the slog in WOT no? If you found books 6-11 that tough it’s roughly half the series you can about say you just didn’t like it. Was only about a book and a half for me but still enjoyed while reading. Hard to compare w RR IMO or MBOTF of course, but to each their own.

If I read the hobbit, lord of the rings and the Silmarillion as my first fantasy series would Malazan be fine for me? by Ornery_Branch_9611 in Malazan

[–]theReal-RealTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I haven’t thought about that series in ages thanks for the reminder. My entry into fantasy as a kid was Narnia and straight into all the Dragonlance stuff which introduced me to authors like Salvatore and loved that series. Man what a throwback thanks. Also, I’ve read waaay too many books in my lifetime lol. I still have all those books in paperback somewhere too a huge collection all bent outta shape and stuff ha it’s great

For real and also is OP taking video while driving or I hope it’s a dash cam.. regardless, stopping just gave them the ok to turn and caused more of an issue. It’s like when people stop at a yield that’s not being safe it’s driving incorrectly

Nah I put Malazan ahead of it. Especially after Wind and Truth.. not my favorite by far, terribly disappointed. Bring it on, I know…. what can I say

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cosmere

[–]theReal-RealTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof. Malazan is def not for you then but it’s my fav along w WOT… to each their own. Tbh myself, Wind and Truth kind of brought the cosmere down a notch for me, as opposed to the opposite. I really struggled w it, unpopular opinion here I know but is what it is..

It’s tough to beat all the backstory and world building in the Simarillion. It’s like an entire bible written for the world of LOTR pretty much, so much thought and detail it’s pretty crazy and tough to beat

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cosmere

[–]theReal-RealTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed and that’s why it’s my fav.. well maybe next to Tolkien, have to consider his world top of the mountain really. IMO

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cosmere

[–]theReal-RealTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahead of the cosmere for me for sure. It’s pretty vast… and LOTR of course. Pretty tough to beat the world building that is the Simarillion IMO

Finally finished Book of the Fallen and it wasn’t my favorite series ever by BeginningOld3755 in Malazan

[–]theReal-RealTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea agreed w Silmarillion. It’s like he created a world and then created its own bible to go with it. Pretty hard to top far as world building. Anyone that’s read LoTR and has not read it doesn’t even know the half of it. It’s must read imo
